Plus, N900 can never beat the voice quality of Milestone, so relatively speaking, N900 is just a multi-media device with phone function, while Milestone is a phone with all other multi-media functions.

            I got 2 questions.

            1) Which phone is better in terms of camera?
            Motorola BACKFLIP or Motorola MILESTONE?

            2) Which phone is better in general?
            Motorola BACKFLIP or Motorola MILESTONE?

motofan.ir , 28 May 2010mileston---------------n900 capacitive-------------tft 1... morethey both have tft, pinky... but one is capacitive, and the other is resisitive... capacitive - good response, but you can`t use it with bulky fingers, or a glove... and resistive touchscreens have improved a lot in response... n900 has 32 gb - droid 133 mb, n900 has the best browser experience out-there, the droid is longer, n900 is nokia (and that's a plus), and is has maemo (that's a plus too)

With all the leaked details and alleged images of the Motorola Droid Shadow, it’s probably safe to assume that Verizon will launch the new smartphone in the coming months.

Well, according to the Wall Street Journal, the largest US carrier is actually readying two new Motorola Droid smartphones for the month of July. This is in line with some previous rumors, which had it that Verizon would introduce both the Shadow, and a similar smartphone (but with a QWERTY keyboard) dubbed Motorola Droid 2.

So these new Droids that the WSJ is talking about are likely the Shadow and the Droid 2. If the smartphones will be launched in July, they might both come with Android 2.2 Froyo from the start.

Although Motorola launched Verizon’s first high-end Droid, the Droid series also includes handsets made by HTC: the Droid Eris and the Droid Incredible – the latter having better features that Moto’s first Droid, and an arguably nicer look.

So Motorola needs to come with really nice handsets from now own, if it wants customers to associate the Droid brand with its name more than with HTC’s. From what we’ve seen and heard until now, the Moto Shadow won’t disappoint – but let’s not anticipate.

Rumors about the Motorola Motoroi hitting the US started floating around back in January, but, until now, no US carrier has announced anything related to the smartphone. And while users are probably expecting the Motoroi to be launched by big operators (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint), it looks like the first to actually sell the handset will be Cincinnati Bell.

The regional carrier (less than 1 million subscribers) has already introduced its own Android smartphone, the Cincinnati Bell Breeze, and it also sells the Google Nexus One. Now, according to Phandroid, Cincinnati Bell plans to offer the Motorola Motoroi starting the third quarter of 2010.

Cincinnati Bell’s Motoroi might be the upgraded Motoroi that will be launched in the UK soon, but that’s just a guess. In any case, the smartphone should feature a WVGA touchscreen display, Android 2.1 (or maybe Android 2.2 Froyo – which will certainly be out in Q3), Wi-Fi, GPS, HDMI port, and a 5MP or 8MP camera with HD video recording

quadrant is a benchmark for mobile devices, capable of measuring cpu, memory, 3d graphics performance. after testing the droid overlocked, nexus 1, htc incredible, galaxy s, and shadow, he get the following results: 1. moto droid overlocked at 1.2 ghz with android 2.1 score 677 rates. 2. nexus 1 android 2.1 score 500 rates. 3. htc incredible android 2.1 score 500 rates. 4. galaxy s android 2.1 score 800 rates. 5. nexus 1 android 2.2 score 1300 rates. 6. moto shadow android ? score 1100. just think if droid overlocked run android 2.2 how fast it will be? and if shadow get that score by running android 2.1 how fast will be shadow. it seems shadow will be named finally like moto droid xtreme. why xtreme because of if fast cpu.

Anonymous, 27 May 2010if compare nokia n900 n motorola milestone, which 1 is better???If you want the smoothest internet running devices with over 50,000 (most being free) applications and the BEST VOICE QUALITY in the industry, get the Milestone.

If you like to give out more $ for a BRICK that always hangs, get N900.

Though if you've the extra bucks, I'd suggest you to get the Milestone, and donate the rest to other charity groups. Many others in the world certainly would be as happy as you using Milestone.
