I just bought this milestone yesterday. 05-13-2010. Does this phone can be upgraded to android 2.2?? i read it has better software than this 2.0...
can install app on sd.. that what i read... I forget where i read that...

Are you guys facing any problems with 2.1 update. My phone gives strange problems i.e. contacts are deleted automatically, pics and videos are deleted. sometimes camera does not respond etc. if anyone can help me solve the problems, would appreciate

Moto xtreme, 14 May 2010i m a moto fan and i have notice people on this forum do no... morehere my first vote for milestone: 1. red color design i give 8 points. 2. blue color features i give 10 points. 3. green color i give 9 points. i hope you will vote and give the milestone is real image as the most popular android. you may check other moto phone also like motoroi and backflip and vote and comment. more the device is popular more you get applications, games, themes and so one. let do it and say hello moto.

i m a moto fan and i have notice people on this forum do not vote for motorola but they just comment which is not bad but milestone is the most popular android s phone but the vote daily popularity is only 27 pourcent. come on let be one company for the most popular android the milestone and vote as many time you can. i was in x10 forum and saw 42 pourcent daily popularity while x10 not even popular. if you are a real moto fan do the same write for others to notice about it. vote and win. hello moto

Anonymous, 12 May 2010oh by turn to mute i meant for both calls and alarm..about the turn to mute feature, you can actually download the app from the android market. its called the flip silent app.

Quake III running on Motorola Milestone -- with a Zeemote JS1 controlling it all
By now we've all seen some of the great 3D PC games ported over to the smaller screen, but we haven't seen this trick. Youtube user Moblisher has the classic first person shooter Quake III running on a Motorola Milestone, and has a Zeemote JS1 controller running the controls. Zeemotes are fairly popular with Nokia users, as well as gamers on that other iPlatform, so it's great to see they are offering an Android version. It's even better that it seems to be working as well as it does. Hit the break for one very cool video.

Anonymous, 13 May 2010hi harminder, how to resolve the battery problem? u saying ... moreThere r so many applications r available at andriod market in ur phone regarding task killer. other thing is that stop ur internet i.e go to setting set it to when needed coz its working in background all the all the time killing battery. anothet thing is adjust ur brightness. Mind it this is the BEST phone available in market with 3.7 screeen and battery life

does milestone get android 2.2 froyo? I ask because google has tested many htc phones for froyo.but dhey still not test milestone.pls tell me wheather it come or not.

does the milestone have the turn to mute function like the htc hd2 or desire? If not can i get a software for that from the android market? Also how many live wallpapers does it have on the indian model? Since android froyo is just around the corner, will the milestone also get a froyo upgrade? Because the droid was being given by the people at google to the developers for testing froyo on it.

Ritz_India_Delhi, 12 May 2010I own this phone for last 45 days and my experience is belo... morehi i,m too using since two month...and every day i find another new application or new thing in it. i,m agree with u the battery problem but i have installed task killer for it. regarding wifi its excellent above my imagination !! For browsing install Dolphin HD it have inbuilt youtube download very good support.

I own this phone for last 45 days and my experience is below
- Good screen, touch response is very accurate and quick
- Processing is fast
-Physical keypad is great. Needs some getting used to.
- Battery backup is poor, has not lasted for 24 hours even once. I charge full everyday morning before going to office and by midnight its battery goes down. I have moderate call usage. I use it primarily for mails and browsing.
- It is summers in India, and ambient temperature is 38 degree celcius, but while talking for long its temperature goes upto 48 degree celcius causing feeling hot to ear.
- Wifi connection is not very stable, sometimes takes long to load youtube even on 1mbps connection.
- Internal memory should have been more.

I'm a newbie, plain and simple question , I'm living here in dubai and i have milestone unlocked, can i update it to 2.1 using the pc update of UK version? because this phone is not officially launched here...Hope that somebody can help me....
