Anonymous, 06 Jan 2011Guys don't use task killers. You are just making the phone ... morethanks for ur feedback anonymous. as im still new to the android OS, i assumed that it would be safe to use task killers like how i used clean ram on my windows mobile. i will check out watchdog and get back to u guys in due course to see how its like. in any case, my phone still gave a maximum of a day and a half with or without the ATK, so i didnt notice any significant improvement in battery performance

I als... morewell yeah i have the multimedia docking station. i think its pretty sweet, what the docking station does, however i think the chaps at motorola might have given it the wrong name. it does nothing extra to improve your multimedia experience. its just a snazzy charger, which turns ur phone into a more user friendly alarm clock. however i only paid about 20 pounds for it, and if u look up on ebay or amazon u could pick one up for US$20...its nt a great deal of money. so why not?

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2011Am I right in saying from you comment on in call quality. I... moreMost Motorola phones, other than the low end ones which are mostly ODM made by others, offer THE BEST voice quality in the industry.

The Crystal Talk technology, available on Milestone and Milestone 2, can filter out all the background noise so others can clearly hear what you say, even in noisy environment.

Once my friend who was using a Moto phone with Crystal Talk, I asked as if he was at home, he said he was at a Carnival.

Guys don't use task killers. You are just making the phone do the same task over and over again, using more and more battery, instead of saving it. RAM memory has a low power consuption, but the processor isn't, and opening and closing so many apps all the time makes the processor work over and over again. IF you need any extra memory, Android will make sure that you will have enough memory for your task. Besides, MS2 has 512mb of RAM, it's lot like it is going to use it all. Use a CPU monitoring program, it's much better. I suggest WatchDog Lite (or Pro, if you want to support the developers), it watches over how much of the CPU is used by the programs, and alerts you when some program is using too much RAM or CPU. It's better than ATK

I also came from a xperia X1 and the battery also last me just for one day so with the M2 it's the same. I am quite happy with the M2 to. I bought mine from expansys and it came with an expansys craddle. However this craddle sucks. Do you have also one to?

right i have had this phone for about a week now. besides the lack of a spring mechanism on the qwerty and the very disappointing battery life the phone is close to perfect in almost every aspect. battery lasts about a day and a half with moderate wifi usage, gaming texting and around 2 hours of calls. cant complain much though, because the UI is really power intensive.

otherwise its brilliantly fast in every aspect and call quality is superb (compared with previous phones- X1 and nokia N95). the feel of the qwerty doesnt disappoint as well. solidly built phone and worth every penny

First impressions. Very well built. Fast fast! Webrowsing great. Youtube app works great. Sliding mechanism not spring assisted but the way it is built ensures aditional endurance. Detected some minor precision flaws in the touch screen. Is seems sleek although the design, imho, is the the best point in this phone.
