        Its heaver then galaxy but with slide keyboard its ok
        the only thing that we need to know is the stand-by time and if its about 350-400 then its a mighty phone

                100 Moto, 10 Sep 2010Guess you got confused about WCDMA (the GSM based 3G) vs. t... moreFor Milestone X, it's different becauce Droid X is absolutly CDMA for USA not even for CDMA China which have sim card while in USA not need of any sim card. Verizon on Droid familly mean Droid, Droid X, Droid 2 use CDMA as you say can't be use in Europe for example. But Milestone, Milestone XT720, the upcoming Milestone 2 and Defy can be use in USA but not on Verizon.

                Cellular South in USA got Milestone but not Droid.

                Milestone still wanted even in USA
                Now Bluegrass released Milestone.

                So believe me Milestone 2 will go to USA and the most important Droid 2 doesn't have HD Video but Milestone 2 does. Many carriers in USA will ask for it. Moto knows 70 % of android market share is in USA then China second, Europe 3th.

                That why Moto make more phone CDMA or WCDMA for USA and China but it seems like verizon and Moto want to make CDMA and GSM version directly for world wide.

                  The most important is "WAN VOICE BANDS" it's says
                  GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and
                  W-CDMA 1700/2100

                  XT720 has 1700 MHz 3G support means it can also go for T Mobile

                  Anyway the link above show Moto XT720 in USA released by Cincinnati Bell with the same specifications.

                    A phone supporting WCDMA does NOT work on CDMA network like those of Verizon, and vice versa.

                    As if so, the ROW would not beg Moto to release Milestone X, as they could of get Droid X and use "WCDMA"...

Truely Samsung doing well in USA but not for long because Moto got better devices than Galaxy Series. The Droid familly with Droid, Droid 2, Droid 2 D2R2 special edition, Droid X which is out of stock but for the first day it went out of stock, Moto manage to sold 350 000 Droid X which is good because the original Droid only sold 300 000 in 2 weeks. And Droid X will get Froyo in september that will reboot the sell of this wanted device. Droid 2 is doing well and claimed to be the most stable device that people don't return after they buy it. In addition Verizon and Moto have the special edition D2R2 with unknow specs that also highly wanted but for strategy Moto sell first the normal Droid 2 and will launch the Droid D2R2 later. No word for now about Milestone 2 in USA but I believe Cellular South will get Milestone 2 because they have the Milestone 1 for the simple reason Droid belong to Verizon but as I said Milestone 2 got HD Video and will attract some Droid lovers for that option.

                            Milestone 2 is now available on the official's Motorola web site mean soon it will be release. I hope Milestone 2 and Defy will be a real success in Europe and in the reste of the world.

Now they will be or they are on the first position(in USA, in America). I read a few months ago, that Samsung dominated America. If Moto will continue to make high-end Android smart phones, they will be number one in America again. They made the Droid X to beat Samsung. First they focused on their country, on their continent, and now they focus at amking high-end phones 4 Europe too. :D

                                    GSM
                                    850/900/1800/1900
                                    W-CDMA 900/2100
                                    or 850/1900/2100

                                    Just like Milestone 1 that was released by Cellular South one of the biggest network provider in USA. That why Moto sell more Droid 1 and Milestone 1 together have been more the 2 millions devices.

                                    Mean that Milleston 2 will also go to USA later. So Moto will have. Droid 2 original, Milestone 2 HD video, Droid 2 D2R2 best design and maybe some more featurings. Let see what will happen.
