That's fair enough. So, then how about YOU stop talking about how you never owed a Motorola before and never will again, okay? I have three of them, one is 5 years old, never had problems, and the ability to pull the signal from out of nowhere saved me, literally, a couple of times. Plus, their reliability has never let me down. And there you go insulting ALL Motorola phones just because you're having problems with ONE? Stop being offensive. Sell it and let it go. Since I got my first cell phone in 2000 I've been let down by phones from couple other brands and you don't see me posting about them 20 times a day as I'm aware that some people have been using those same phones for 4-5 years without problems. Motorola is not for you, just like other brands aren't for me. Get something you'll be happy with, and since this is a fairly expensive phone I think you should, with your financial capabilities, have a good selection elsewhere. Cheers!

....As you said 'deal breaker'... well HD on the xt720 isnt exactually good and was one of the main reasons i bought it. htc desire will be getting HD so thats another reason why im selling the xt720.
another thing is, all the overclocking etc... should you really have to do this to a new phone to get it functioning the way it is sposed to?, even if it is overclocked to 800mhz.. your doing it to get the phone to work properly right? doesnt sound right does it?

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2010sorry meant jerky HD.. umm u know what i meant.
peace. But with the xt720 you can have a relatively smooth D1 recording. There is one observation i made about hd recording on xt720 is that it is progressive rather than interlaced. That is why it judders rather than blurs. I saw some footage of the desire and it seems to be interlaced??
Some people have posted on a forum that if you overclock the xt720 to 800mhz. The 720p recording is smooth.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2010I understand your view on HD video but even if it is jerky,... moredesire has/ will have HD video.. photos at night are slightly better on the xt720. daylight the desires cam fares slightly better.yes details are better on HD than D1 or WVGA but id rather a smooth D1/WVGA than a jerky 720.
honestly, youve set your x720 to record at D1 right? im sure you have.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2010yeh, id never own another Sony Ericsson phone again either.... moreI understand your view on HD video but even if it is jerky, the details you get is better than D1 720*480 resolution. Htc desire was also an option for me but the HD video and Xenon flash was the deal clincher for me. Good quality loudspeakers and wireless reception made me even more very happy about the xt720!
