Hey Motorola! Why can't you give us more colour of the same phone like others? Milestone 3 in white, sylver and blue colours please. The same for Atrix and so on and you will see the result

Maybe I'm missing something! Can someone please explain why this phone Motorola Milestone XT883 has an average rating of 9.4 while the Samsung I927 Galaxy S II has an average rating of 7.6. why?

Thanks again for the info and all the help.
I'm actually still smartphone-less as I raised the issue of waiting a little longer for the Milestone 3 and not much has happened yet.
I'll have a think about importing the Droid 3 after going through phone plans and sway the pros my way. (Yes, sadly I don't make the final decision.) The physical look of it is slightly different to the M3 which is what I prefer, but that's not much of a problem.
How are you finding the Droid 3? I'm betting it's pretty damn amazing.

You've probably already got the Milestone 2 by now, but the Droid 3 is available for importing over in Australia. If you search for the Droid 3 on this site, and then click the first link under 'Check prices', you'll find the site it's available from.
I went and purchased one recently from that site, but from the sounds of it, the Milestone 2 is probably the way you went.
Either way, hope you're enjoying your new phone man.

... moreXT883 is a CDMA phone with UIM card slot which is specific to China market.
Most phone outside China are GSM with SIM card slot or CDMA without any card slot.
XT883 uses CDMA while requires a UIM card slot, hence only useful in China.

Finally! A proper phone! Hope they hurry up and release it, my HTC is dying. Why has it been SO difficult to produce a phone with a decent qwerty keyboard, decent browsing, decent camera, GPS and adobe flash support before now?? These are the BASIC REQUIREMENTS of a modern day phone Mr Manufacturers!! Get with the program like this phone has.

I really do want to wait it out, though the deals on the M2 is making it seem more unlikely and I'm not the one making the final decision which is unfortunate.
Any idea how much the handset would cost by itself?
I also realised that this Milestone looks slightly different to the Droid 3.

Why does Motorola take out the Radio option in an otherwise perfect package i.e Milestone ? Its so dissapointing. The best looking Motorola models like Droid / Milestone do not have the FM radio option. Forces me to consider HTC :-(
