I don't want to break the site rules, but I hope they don't classify this as commercial advertising - it's certainly not my intent - I just want to inform you of what I've found.

      http://bit.ly/pByDZG

There's a site I've ordered online from in Australia, (you may have heard of them before) and have been quite good. It seems like they will stock the Droid 3. No ETA as of yet though.

I'll do my best to hold out for the Droid / Milestone 3... mainly because I'm interested in that seperate number row on the keyboard. Seems like it'd be pretty handy.

I've been pretty tempted to pick up a Milestone 2 also.

The Droid 3 (this phone in the USA) is coming out on the 14th of July. It is also a global phone (eg. it'll work here in Australia).

There's a few Australian stores that do imports, so I'm planning to ask them whether they plan on getting either the Droid 3 or Motorola 3 anytime soon.

If I find out anything useful, I'll post back here.

Any idea if this will be released in Australia, and approximately when?
I've been holding out getting the milestone 2 and now I'm torn between waiting a little longer for this or getting the M2 soon instead.

Also, anyone know why this one's built more similar to the original milestone (slide screen is shorter than its keyboard) rather than the milestone 2??

Actually the chinese market is the second most important after the US. With better profit in China, Moto announced 3 dual core phones, the Moto MT870, Moto XT883 (Milestone 3) with Gingerblur 3D UI, Moto XT882 to boost the sell in China and in US the Atrix 4G, Droid X2, Droid 3, Photon 4G and the most wanted the Droid Bionic 4G for US market. Moto said that they will lanch more devices in US, China and South America. Still more to come the Droid HD, Moto Bullet and Moto Jet both Quad Core CPU, 12MP, Android 4.0 Ice S.

A leaked internal Verizon memo is all about the Motorola DROID 3. The memo says that direct fulfillment orders will ship on July 7th and the phone will be in stores exactly one week later on July 14th. Pricing is unknown, but there is nothing that would suggest anything higher or lower than the old standard of $199.99 with a signed 2 year contract.

According to the memo, the Motorola DROID 3 allows for 27% faster multitasking than the Motorola DROID 2 Global while the 4 inch qHD screen has 26% more pixels and graphics are 30% faster than seen on the DROID 2 Global. The memo also talks about scrollable widgets and smart dock technology that remembers the setting from each dock that the phone was plugged in to.

Just yesterday we reported that an upcoming edition of Verizon's Product Guide showed the Motorola DROID 3 and some of the fine specs on the device. Now comes the hard part for Big Red's customers. Do you pick up the third generation DROID model without 4G, or do you wait perhaps as little as 2 weeks longer for the LTE spouting Motorola DROID Bionic?
