Not a bargain at any price. Powers off even when battery reads 40% [and if I try to take A PICTURE, even when battery is over 50%]. "Unfortunately", I always get the unfortunately whatever Google app I want at the time has stopped working. Goes into airplane mode for no apparent reason. I'm sure that my lack of tech savvy accounts for some of the problems. And that's exactly why I would discourage anyone looking for that first smartphone to avoid this contraption like the plague.

When you update to Android 5.1 this device becomes a doorstop. The internal memory is too small and you are going to fill it with 3 apps.

This phone is amazing for the price $79.99. I have had zero problems with my phone in three years. I pay $10 a month for service. I love this phone.

Worst model ever!!Whenever after insertion of SD card,its showing removed unexpectedly.

The camera is terrible. It suddenly turns off and on when it crashes despite it not being very old. (And crashes kinda often). The good part is that it works pretty well calls and it has nice volume. It is good if you dont use it as a gadget but just as a regular phone.

Paper work with this phone says front facing camera for selfies. cannot activate. Although the tiny hole where camera should be has blinking white light most times. Have I been hacked? Also no slot to up storage and it says it does.

hello guys
The best ROM for moto e is LINEAGE ROM .
it is very very good ROM and it not have any bug and run smoothly..... so install it and enjoy....I still use it..

I installed cyanogenmod 13 in my Moto E 1st gen... but there is a problem occurred, showing as no sim card. I tried many ways to fix it.. Finally I got a better solution from here http://www.techdoubts.net/2016/02/fix-moto-e-1st-gen-dual-sim-no-sim-card.html. It may be useful for others may be.

Very good phone. Using it for 2.5 years now. Performance is very good. No problems till now. Good for games too. I play gta vice city without any lags on it. The camera is very poor tho.
Best part about the phone is it's battery life which is quite amazing!

It's been a great phone but i am unable to go to the store and buy air time as they don't make the cards. I have had the phone for 3 years and never had a problem with it. If I can't put time on it, then I don't need it. I will upgrade but I will be going with their competitor because they left me out in the cold. My job requires that I have a phone as I may need to call 911.
