"We have Xiaomi Service center in our town which is the only brick and mortar xiaomi have here.
There are however one or two xiaomi official distributor partner like erafone which does have their own brick and mortar store and there rest is big gray market area where my neighbour store is in.
I don't know how the phone store work in India, but basically nearly every phone store in Indonesia at least have 2~3 xiaomi at their stock. Either they bought it online then sold it with a margin or bought them from China then also sold with a margin or simply bought it from the official importer/distributor.
We also can get Xiaomi phones that just been released in china a month or even week after, but at like five time the official price. It gonna took 2~3 month before the price normalize"

Got my refund for Moto E3. Somehow managed to use the flipkart voucher as well. And ordered a Moto g4 play. Amazon had 15% cash back and a 1000 INR gift card too. In hindsight I got a better deal on the Moto G4 play than the E3 power.
Regarding the OTG issue. They took a lot of time acknowledging that there was an issue.
Since I had the phone for a week and used it extensively, I am in a situation to post a review of sorts which may help the others wanting to purchase.
Those thinking of buying the Moto e3 power should keep in mind that it's a phone which will work well if used ONLY for basic stuff. Calls, messages, social media, and consuming content. This PHONE IS NOT MEANT FOR GAMING.
But day to day tasks are performed well and you won't face any lag.
The battery life nothing short of spectacular. It lasted a full day on heavy use. SOT was 8~9hrs.
The phone does not get hot, nowhere near the Moto g4 plus if we use that as an example.
The charging is slow. Takes 2 hours to charge and that too when you're not using the phone, if you do it may take longer.
Camera was decent. Like a said just a basic camera. Nothing special.
The only con was that it won't be getting the Android N update.
If update is a priority then go for g4 play else Moto e3 power is a good choice.

its been a month.. I ve an issue, whenever i get a call and i try to take the phone out of my pocket it either disconnects r connects.. and the power button is not fast enough like other phones.. it sometimes takes 3 seconds to display the lock screen..
do any1 ve these problems?? and one 1 with solutions???

Phone is good. From last 1 month I am using it.. But the only problem in this phone is that you can not select both SIM on 3g mode i.e. you can only change SIM 1 settings to 2g,3g,LTE and SIM2 is by default 2g, you can not even change it to 3g as mentioned in features.

There you will find an option for sleep mode. You can select one which you want during sleep mode.

I am not writing these comments out of my imaginations. I have had used the prototype test units much before it came to market.i know it's capabilities and limitations.

Reason was it used to do what it said.. No fancy expectations. And now that I have upgraded to E3, is there anything wrong with higher expectations? My only expectation is to get what a product is advertised to be.. Nohing more and nothing less.
Will you be happy with your current smartphone (if you have any) with a functionality of a Nokia 3310?
If yes I am ready to sell you such basic phones for a price of a smartphone.. Will you buy it?:)

And you my friend (along with similar ones like you), are more interested in finding faults and crying around on this forum.even if you own a flagship, you will still be amongst those unhappy lot.coz that's your attitude.
It is attitude which matters.nothing is perfect in this world. Being happy or unhappy is our choice.
Issue accepted by Motorola doesn't mean each and every handset needs to be affected.

It will be better than E3 Power.
But if you want beefy battery, then chose E3 Power.
But mind you, both are basic phones, good for phone calls,messages,emails etc.
Don't expect too much like games and heavy graphics application on these.
When you buy any of these two, request to do the following
- do not use phone while charging
- do not try to download many apps at same time. Load them one by one.have patience.
- prolonged usage with graphics intensive apps will result in warming of both devices. Please understand, these are not power robots, but are basic phones.
- try not to cover with thick and heavy protective shells / skins. It may hinder dissipation of warming.
- AND DONT GO BY NEGATIVE COMMENTS THAT YOU SEE. DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. NO PHONE IS PERFECT. IT IS UPTO A USER HOW HE/ SHE USES IT PERFECTLY ( after understanding it's limitations)
If you stick to basics ,you will have a pleasant experience.

So just wondering... how everything is so perfectly working in your phone already? They haven't released the OTA update yet :)

Don't know what to do.
I can not hear the other persons voice while call because of very very low volume, but the speaker is perfect , all music and speaker call works perfectly. looks like software problem.
