I think it maybe just your unit cuz I too have this purchased from Flipkart and I get 1.5 days battery life with heavy use. My SOT is around 6 hours.

I'm getting just 2 hrs SOT on this mobile . Its getting hanging when open multiple apps.
Camera is very poor.
Flipkart is not allowing us to write negative reviews ..you can't see even 1 negative feedback in reviews section.

Now you know reason to opt for SD over mediatek.
