okay so i had formatted my moto e4 phone and it was having diffitculty loading to set up. i looked up some tips and the answers was to take out the sims card and skip the connect to wifi part. i did as it said. and now i cant get it past " checking info" when im trying to login to google and it says the same thing when i try to open the play store. i checked to see if there was any system updates but it says that its all up to date.

    Had this phone for over 5 years and it's worked reliably well the whole time, especially regarding battery life/health. It finally started to slow down for me though, likely due to the outdated OS and chip (ex: a weather app isn't able to display it's radar widget anymore).
    Really happy I bought it, and am looking forward to using the new Moto G84 which I just bought from India

      Had this phone 2 times, one in 2018 and the other next year
      In my opinion it's an alright phone it functioned similar to my current phone when I had it
      I recommend for mostly internet browsing

            A humble little phone with outdated specs in 2022 for sure. Hard to believe but the lightweight skin and stable Android 7.1.1 are a real boost to the performance of this phone even with 2gb RAM. Its build though felt cheap actually is its durability strength. Low res screen, SD 4xx processor reliably provide 5 to 6 hours SOT with hours of video streaming even on a small battery by today's standard and the best part, the battery is removable. It's almost counterintuitive to use a phone like this today but beside the lackluster camera it does hold its own among modern budget / midrangers.

              Apps>(each app)>Storage>under "storage used" hit "change" button and shift app to mSD card. Most Google apps cannot be shifted off but the majority of others can.

                Please I have an issue with my Moto E4, I don't know what I press on it and it's just came up with a green bar around every program on it and I have to tap twice to open anything and I can't scroll any to move on the screen

                  Can i get the original charging port and where it awaible

                    Ah... The Moto E4. Where do I even Begin? Oh yeah.

                    I had this Phone from Feb 2018 to July of 2019. During my time using it, I have to say It was fine at first, But Over time It would start doing weird things. It was sometimes very Laggy, WIFI would Disconnect and reconnect by itself many, MANY Times, then it started having Charging Issues through Sep 2018 to July of 2019 after I upgraded to an LG Stylo 5 (Still have the LG. It's been working well since) For my Moto E4 after I got my LG Stylo 5, I took my Moto E4 Outside with a baseball bat and I smashed it to bits and threw it in the garbage. I actually did that, No joke. Kept my SD Card of course, And used my LG Stylo 5 since then, And during the Pandemic, My Family all switched to IPhones, Now I have two great phones. I would never trade them for anything. But the Moto E4 can just be forgotten about, It just was too much for me to handle. I almost forgot to add one time when I plugged in the Moto E4 it was at 25 or so, and it went to 70 something withing 5 seconds, I still can't explain that one till this day. Anyways, have a great day or night to those who read this.

                      Literally the best budget phone people are talking about it's battery life which is a little problem but factory resetting it solves the problem and what else do you expect from it it has only 2gbs of RAM

                        Absolute terrible phone, very slow and glitchy, bad battery life, abysmal storage, and a pain to restart. Very glad to get a galaxy a32 5g as it solved all the problems I had with the e4, and now I'm free from the torture of living for 3 years with a moto, would not recommend unless you're looking for the most bottom-barrel cheap phone you can find. I may be over-exaggerating as the phone does its job but I have had so many infuriating moments with the phone such as it glitching out and struggling to load an app as simple as messages or phone that I just grew to hate it.

                                  Got the phone a year ago. After the first three months, I find I have to restart it at least three times a day, or calls won't come in or go out, and similar with texts. Just been dealing with it that long.Now the latest, the phone "dings" that I have VM messages, but I do not. I cannot get it to clear out. I really liked my last Motorola phone, and when it was time I purchased the Moto e4 from US Cellular.

A great phone for the price.
