Suggest never to buy this phone ever. You'll somehow regret it. The camera is not all that good. The RAM storage is not even 4.0GB as stated it's only 3.6GB RAM which is totally annoying. Don't buy this if you want to play games, it heats and lags a lot. A few Meta apps are laggy in this phone aswell such as messenger and facebook. The system updates never even stabilizes the phone, it makes it worse. No way of fixing whatsoever so better to throw this and buy a new one.

I have this phone for almost a year, overall good experince, battery life is good, performance is smooth, camera as expected is average, they could have put only one good instead of three but ok. Microphone is just the worst ever on calls or video/audio recording it sounds quite and trashy

Bought moto e40, Oct 23. Amazon. Phone is updated to July security patch. Everything is ok. NO heating at all. Charging time has stabilized now. Remember battery and charging will take time to settle down. Wait for some time. Notification light is adjustable. Will auto cutoff when charging reaches 90 percent. Try it and see. Very handy. Battery comes down to around 50 percent after 1 day of normal usage. No games only YouTube. Jio network is the only problem. Can't do anything . Chennai area. Lot of AI is built in. Open gesture to see most of moto settings. Very good sturdy phone. Got it for 7750. Thanks for your time.

This phone has its positives and negatives, as any phone. I've been using it for months and here's what I wanna say. Do NOT buy this phone if you want a good video camera, or a decent photo camera. For a phone from 2021 that I bought in early 2023 (with the price being around 200$), the functionality is less than not great. It doesn't even support 5GHz WiFi, something that the 2017 iPhone 8 did, and I don't know if it's my phone or the router, but 2.4GHz WiFi connection issues are a common problem, thus I have to use 4G LTE 99% of the time. The specs are average, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (at least it's expandable). Performance is actually quite good, and the 90Hz screen does make a difference. The battery is awesome too, easily lasts 2 days on a single charge with moderate use. Would I recommend buying this phone right now? Not for anything more than 120$. It lacks features phones years older than it support.

This mindset is the reason why Microsoft Lumia died . You compare by means of vspec for money when in practical it's always about performance and endurance for money.

The performance is formidable. I must admit I am really impressed by the smooth performance and the most amazing battery life I have seen in years. But I am sorry I can't give you more honest opinion on gaming performance since I use this phone for mostly work and snapping family pics. The pictures are much better than all my previous phones including Moto G5s plus, Vivo V55l and Redmi Note 7s, but since both use different appro

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2023Moto E40 or Nokia G21 or Redmi 10C?Redmi 10C is clearly the best value of them 3. It has the better hardware 128GB storage, 4GB ram + 2GB virtual RAM = 6GB RAM. Snapdragon 680 and UFS 2.2 file system for faster loading or installing of apps.

I have had this phone since August 2022 and I don't regret getting it for 1 second.

Motorola and Nokia are overpriced and with weaker hardware. You will have a slow phone with garbage CPU garbage storage, garbage speed and everything.

My old phone was Nokia 3.1 Plus, it was so bad I will never get Nokia again. There was a bug where no ody on the planet with that phone could see any of their notifications, not even calls for almost a year before Nokia released an update that fixed it.

Motorola's budget phones are just bad - they are too expensive and don't justify it with features or speed. Like Nokia, they expend all their resources into useless things like a better camera or an AMOLED screen or a beautiful aluminium back and then the CPU is garbage, storage is garbage, file system is garbage and once you get an Android update to the next version the phone becomes impossibly slow.

My Nokia 3.1 Plus started with Android 8, when I got Android 9, it became slower and battery life got worse, then it got Android 10 and became even slower and the battery got so bad I had to recharge it every day.

After using nearly 2 months, I got some bad impressions. Battery drains too fast and has lagging issues during game. I play War Robots and it lags a lot. Also, heating is an issue a bit. No other issues.

Anonymous, 12 Mar 2023Moto E40 or Nokia G21 or Redmi 10C?Nokia and Moto E40 are both near stock android - so you will get cleaner spam free experience. You can set up the phone so as to minimise your private/personal data leakage. With Redmi, Vivo, Oppo etc. I found that one has little to no control over restricting data sharing (they almost force you) and you will end up giving away data to atleast two parties - the manufacturer AND google. However since the latter have better incentive, they also offer better hardware, fast charging and optimised software (cameras are wonderful BTW - software/hardware are always almost better) to keep you hooked in. So it depends on your priorities. With time I found though, the experience on stock remains consistent - the others start faltering somewhat but not much to annoy you significantly.

The battery lasts for 4-5 days easily with extensive usage. But of course I don't play games or watch movies on it. I do use social apps, camera, youtube on firefox and calling - a lot. Camera will leave you wanting, but its not bad. This is update after 1½ months of usage.
