I have had moto e4 plus since 4 months and its working amazing....battery timing superb... Memory superb.... Performance superb.... BEST phone for selfies and does not heat up.. Amazing resolution and does not hang ..... Recommended for all....

For me this phone is awesome and has been. Mine is a year old and still works the same from the time I purchased it. The update improved data speed and note. I had a charging issue where the charger got extremely hot. All I did was replace the charging cable and it's no longer hot. Great phone for the price. Highly recommended ;)

Gino76, 03 Apr 2018The G5 Plus is slowly getting "out of stock" status in in t... moreMoto X4 it's amazing but I've been watching amazon UK and X4 it's kind expensive at least for me, around £379.99, I know the phone will receive more support than the others Moto, but I don't know how long they will be giving support to this phone.
Well, if you feel better with a 5.5 inches you should invest on the G5S Plus and it's only for £199.99, but of course you should do some research.

I have moto E4 Plus through amazon, brought four days ago, today i am charging my mobile for the third time, charging time was faster till it reaches 93% which is 2 hrs 30 minutes from 0-93%. after 93% it takes nearly 45 minutes from 93% to 98%, then it takes further 10 minutes to reach 99%, approximately 3 hrs 30 mins. what is the problem with my mobile.?

Heart slowly attracted to the X4 as it is newer and according to Moto will be getting the more support than the rest. And prices have been slashed greatly over here.
Time to invest?
I still feel a 5.2" tho is not enough and the 5.5' screen hits the sweet spot for me.

anyone have a signal issue on this phone? because i had signal issue from this phone.
i compare with 2 phone motorola c plus n e4 plus. in c plus i have full signal but in this phone i got have signal..

The first image does seemingly confirm it has some kind of video stabilization. The second shows no magnetometer.
Your model XT1773 is a Brazil model with very minor differences to the Euro model but basic camera, screen, processor (minus the "M" part) seems all the same.
Again, I told you about my gripes with the G5S and Nokia 5 but i need to do more research and ask people around. My heart also goes for either the G5 Plus or X4 but the latter is £30 more than my max budget.

When I put the charger the phone heats a lot, I guess it's because the phone has quick charge. If you feel uncomfortable with the heat you can go to the technical support of Motorola.

I contac... moreThe version that I have is XT1773 and I guess I have the last version of the camera app. I uploaded a screenshot for you https://i.imgur.com/wIPLAcL.jpg as you can see the video has electronic stabilization. I send you another screenshot where you can see the all sensors of the phone https://i.imgur.com/KMymUAv.png as you can see it doesn't have magnetometer or an e-compass.
The speaker it's below, next to micro USB connector, and you can hear it in loud crowd streets or buses, the sound it's very nice and loud.
The processor of my version it's the Mediatek 6737M.
The phone only can record video on 720p30fps sadly...
I only have heard that the Qualcomm version has dual band WiFi, but my version does not have dual band sadly again...
My personal opinion is you can choose both (G5S, Nokia 5) and you won't be wrong. If I would have the money I'd rather one of them instead Moto E4 plus. At this moment I have felt fine with the E4 plus, though.

I contacted Motorola for these same questions and they told me that the E4 Plus does not have electronic video stabilisation. (You told me it does on the latest camera app version)
I also read from somewhere that the E4 Plus does have a magnetometer or an e-compass but NOT a compass.
Is the speaker down firing or front facing? You said loud enough...to be heard on a semi-busy street or bus or train maybe?
Could you please confirm the actual processor of the E4 Plus? (Having Android for past 8 years I came to know tricks on how to limit background processes without rooting so I'm not too worried but it's just to make sure that this phone can keep up with common/basic tasks without too much multitasking, productivity apps, 3D gaming, non-stop streaming or apps that uses too much data/Location such as FB.
Can it only record videos at 720p at 60fps max?
I also heard that it DOES support dual-band wifi. True?
My gripe with the Moto G5S is its smaller frame (screen) and Nokia 5 is too vanilla for me (camera UI is too basic, sunlight legibility & screen calibration seem poor and not even an NFC shortcut toggle is there which i thought was an oversight on the engineers) tho both phones offer higher res screens and takes 1080p videos.

The phone has a really great battery life and a decent camera, but the screen sunlight legibility it's ok, not great. The speakers are loud enough. If you are looking for A1 performance this Moto E4 Plus it's not for you.
1. Yes, it does. The app of the camera has the option for choosing the electronic stabilization.
2. Yes, it does. The phone has protection for odd water spills or light rain.
3. No, it doesn't have compass.
4. I don't know, but the only thing that I can say is that the speaker sound very loud.
5. Not too much, it depends, I mean if you have a lot of apps running in background of course you will have stutters and hiccups, but I only felt that when I watched videos 720p60fps on youtube.
6. Moto E4 plus only supports 2.4Ghz, therefore, it can't connect to 5Ghz wifi.
Conclusion: If you have the money, go for Moto G5S or Nokia 5. Whichever you choose you will be fine, but if you want to spend less go for the Moto E4 plus (It's great for the price).
