Done with Moto
Bought it 5 months back. Issues started coming up as early as 2 weeks from date of purchase.
1. Biggest Issue - Network loss in both sims (A phone should fulfill the basic necessity - calling, isn't it? ). Data as well as phone calls won't go through. There will be no network coverage for long duration (the duration is based on your luck). I have tried all combinations - single sim, swapping sim slots - nothing helps.
2. Videos won't play - If your phone has been on for say 4-5 hours. A restart of phone fixes this (It has been fun trying to find fixes for field issues - worked without pay)
3. Touch screen stops working and a hard boot is needed to fix this (long press the power key to switch off)
4. Constant Glitches while playing music through bluetooth. Restart of phone fixes this (Shape of You sounds like Ssshhhaaappee OOfffff YYYooouuu)
5. Phones crashes while playing games/apps crash way too frequently.
The quality of the product clearly shows that it had been released in a hurry, without proper testing. Dissapointed with this purchase to say the least. Going for a new phone (definitely not moto)
P.S - Dropped the phone on the floor yesterday. It's performance has improved ;) Developers of the product - were you aware of this fix? :p

4g LTE network connection is poor. Don't buy this phone, my friend is use this and the issue of connection is true.....

I've used this phone for about 5 months and my experience was mixed. It's a decent phone with some bugs.
Pros: Battery life is great, display is good. Camera is Good. Works fine.
Cons: Heavy, Bluetooth connectivity issues, difficult to operate with one hand.

It has lot of basic issues

I just got give this phone as a gift and im very impressed with the phone & i wasnt a motorola fan but this phone has changed my mind 100% would recommend to anyone who's looking at the Moto E4 plus

people,when you buy smartphone,understand your need and buy,dnt just buy some mobile and blame it cz it cant do your needs..its like taking a sedan for offroading..i hav mediatek e4plus 3 gb ram varient,recent update,they improved vidio camera and all..i am nt a big games..just social apps and small games..it works perfect and amazing battery life and i watch even bluray movies it works perfect..those people who sayn its nt working properly or some error,mind it its android errors is a part of it..myn is smooth running even i hav somany apps..4G is fast,dual band wifi,nfc,yeah it lacks some sensors,like magnometer and all ..If u peoples having some probs ..go repair it or replace it..And when you buy phone dnt blindly buy some phone nd complain it saying its hanging cz u are playing ashpalt or gta ,cz its powerfull....This is wat the research i done on smartphones..People just randomly buy without checkn deep about specs ,most people dont hav knowledge about it ,so cant blame also.and then say phone is bad ,when it get stuck and all.

i had used lots of other motorola mobile phone but this phone waste of money please don't buy it so many issues even VLC or instagram not working with 3 Gb very Bad phone

I bought Moto e4 plus xt1771 two days ago. the battery is superb and phone is quick to respond.
Some problems I faced are;
1. I checked Imei numbers, the phone and pack imei numbers matched but the online imei numbers checking showed an internal memory of 32Gb, and 2gb ram set, which it is not.
2. The mobile is missing gyroscope and compass/magnetometer (though the specifications said it has compass)
3. I transferred the micro SD card from my Galaxy grand prime to Moto E4 plus and 80% of the videos were not playing (it was supposed to be better then that). First I would just transfer any video from laptop to grand prime and it would play but now it does not.
Can anyone tell me which video player is needed?
