Don't believe it when it says in the specs that the OS can be upgraded to 6.0 Marshmallow. After buying this phone I discovered that is not true in the US , ( it is true for other countries though.) That was one of the main reasons why I purchased this phone, so I could upgrade it later. Apparently the carriers have decided not to have the US be able to upgrade these phones to the next OS :(

I've had this phone for a year or two. Everything has been great up until now. The internal space isn't enough, and the camera sucks. I do alot of outside chores and have dropped it many of times on the concrete, the phone is still going strong. No cracks. Lately it has been freezing up on me and not holding a charge. Other than that I have been very pleased with the phone, it's just time for an upgrade for me.

I think this phone is really great. I got mine free as part of my package with the phone company. I don't do gaming so that is not an issue for me. The thing I like about the phone is that it feels solid and tough. I have dropped it many times without any damage. I use it to work as a courier for Deliveroo in all weathers and temperatures and it never lets me down. It can only handle a number of apps due to the memory limit but that is not an issue for me. Everything else it does well; Netflix, YouTube, shopping online etc

I have this pone right now (yes, in 2018) and i like it, it is confortable at hand, and the performance is good for the price, if you want a pone for social networking i think this can do accomplish the task

Motorola quality is superb, so if not working go to carrier change your sim

Very simple compact smartphone. Good if you need smartphone features and accessibility (email, internet, calendar, personal assistant). CANNOT handle multitasking. Very limited processing power. Cannot handle most mobile games.

Used to have this but upgraded to the Moto g4 play recently, the Moto E 2nd gen sucks for gaming, which is what I do all day. I would only recommend this phone for if you can't find a flip phone or wanna watch YouTube. Anything else really and you will probably want to get a better phone.

The best thing about this phone is its small form factor. It easily fits in your trouser pockets. The worst thing is the small internal space. Once you’ve installed a number of apps, you’re constantly battling for space, even after inserting an extra sd card, since not all apps can use it and may need lots of data (looking at you, spotify!). Performance is mediocre to adequate. When switching between apps, the lack of RAM (1gb) really hurts. Price is low, so price/performance is good, but only buy this phone if you can live with its drawbacks.

I own the Motorola moto e2 it's a decent phone does what it has to do I've not come across any issues yet browser is pretty quick I've not noticed any lag so far so good

ENGR, 10 Aug 2017Can you add another SIM card for more storage? It does seem... more5GB is not very much at all (most phones come with at LEAST 16GB). The 1GB RAM makes it really slow, but it works as a good first smartphone for kids. I've had mine for two years and it crashes all the time now though. I think it's time to upgrade.

i have this phone works fine no issue no lagging till u think it is a 1gb ram device and 5gb internal
social media works fine fb WhatsApp and Instagram

I am using this handset since nov 15. Guys wont lie,its best phone i have used till date. M telling u the reason. Previously i was using htc incredible s which i purchased arround 24k.The best thing about this phone is,it's size. U won't ever feel that u r carring a book sized phone in ur pocket.its handy phone and can acess/use the entire phone for hours with just a single finger,i mean ur thumb can access from top to bottom of ur screen. When it comes about lagging n performance.then u won't have any issue regarding this.ya u won't play high graphics games but for general purposes its the best phone. Other thing is about the brand value... u will get service center at any corners of country.

I like it. Purchased it used but looks new. Had for 10 months and no problems so far. Did have to add microSD card for additional storage for my music. Mainly use it for YouTube, weather, directions, texting/talking, streaming music or playing mp3's. Works great for my needs. I'm not sure I would purchase it if I was in to mobile app gaming as it seems a tad bit sluggish when opening apps and browser but that may be due to Norton Mobile Security running on it. I still use a flip phone as well and actually prefer it when talking with or without my Bluetooth headset.
