Guys good official update for moto e lollipop. Only issue is that internal memory get decrease to around 1.6 GB for usar application. Bt its okay after a long time we get most beautiful lollipop update bcoz its has some amazing features like d sim card name continues showing on notification pabel like iPhone then no need to open wifi n Bluetooth settings for connect d device bcoz u can find Bluetooth devices name n wifi name in notification panel. Use App2sd app for move some movable application to SD card after 2 days using d updates there is no lack of any thing in this update. N u can get total experience of lollipop.

now I am planing to downgrade my moto e to KitKat 4.4.4 again. kitkat is best for moto e

hey guys,
I request to all moto E 1st Gen users not to update lollipop. it will reduce your ROM to 1.6 gb of which you can use 1.5 gb. I want tell all those users who got very exited about lollipop that kitkat 4.4.4 is bug free and best operating system. there is only little difference between lollipop and kitkat. what is the use of lollipop if you can't use everyday apps. those who already updated lollipop there is 1 trick to free some ROM.
1. download es file manager
2.on first page of es file manager you will see internal and external memory info . above that info you will see info of number of images videos documents and apps.
3. go to apps and select those apps which you don't use everyday.
4. after selecting multiple apps select backup on task bar given below
5.it will back those apps in phone memory. go to phone memory .there will be folder called backup.
6.select that folder cut and paste into external memory card.
7. uninstall those apps .you will get more space on phone memory.
if you need any app which is uninstalled go to back up folder and install it. No need to download separately from play store.
I have 600 MB free ROM by this method

recently updated 5.1, everything is fine but memory is become very low. 750mb free space before update and 285mb after update. how to increase space after update????

Hi I updated my moto e to Android lollipop 5.1
It took about more than 20 minutes to complete installation . Till now everything working after few struggles

Got the new 5.1 update..not worth the update...300 mb gone..
Cannot default external storage for games and apps...
It's a lost suitation in every way

I got lollipop 5.1 update. It's around 375mb in size and the moto e experience post upgrade is awesome.. It's totally worth the wait for all these months for a bug free android 5.1 lollipop update. You rock Motorola.

Awesome phone. Reasonable for the price. Good with display and gorilla glass 3. But what about Motorola's garented upgrade to lollipop. S

I got a notification on my moto e India about android l 5.2 update available. I was on mobile data that time, so I turned on WiFi and clicked on "yes,I'm in" after a while it said internal memory is less, require at least 400mb internal memory free space. My internal free space memory was 350mb. So I moved all my WhatsApp videos to external card and also cleared internal cache which was around 250mb. Now I have 700mb internal memory available! But when I clicked on about phone system update, instead of downloading lollipop update it says your phone runs on current latest version?. This is stupid .I checked on android version , it was KitKat 4.4.4 I don't know what's wrong with Motorola..its been 18hours since I got 5.1 version available for download - first time it came . now every time I check for updates it doesn't show me update available.. Moto e what's your problems!!!

Good phone and performance..but the camera is too bad..i bought it as it has 5MP camera..but it takes very poor quality images..

When will lollipop update be recieved in gujarat. Phone always shows its upto date. What to do. Any expert can sort this out.

Pictures taken are not saved in mobile. Is it memory card issue or mobile issue
