Touch is awesome, battery timing is just perfect. sound is good. only down side is Cam and lack of SD card.
I am using this mobile from Jan-2014, i never faced any big issue which i was not able to resolve, no mobile is bug free now a days specially Android. i also face some issues at start but now i resolved.
Skype notification sometime didn't work and call hangup, for this, i have to force close application and after that it works fine. some time charging going to zero suddenly on 3G, but i realize that it happened only when battery juice is about 30% and 3G activated.on WiFi its normal.
on notification bar moto G shows H+ icon, at start it didn't showed up but now its there,
All in all Moto G fulfill need of routine activities on a smartphone; calling, tenting, social networking, and gaming.

This has been awarded as the best budget smartphone and i can't agree anything less than it. This is actually the best budget smartphone. I bought it a week back and just for the sake of testing its limits I've been using it heavily from every aspect. All in all, it's a good buy. It provides good value for the money you pay. The size is comparable to other models in the same range. But most important of all, the specifications that this phone provides is much better than any other smartphone in this range. The processors are fast enough to handle multiple apps at the same time. Complimenting the hardware is the Android Kitkat software. It just gets better with it. However, given all this positives, there are some issues regarding camera and battery. The camera quality is not that great and neither is the battery. the battery drains rather quickly with extended use of internet and other apps. But given it's a smartphone, this is rather good enough. One thing that feels compromised in this device is the memory. It talks about 8 gb memory but only 5 gb is accessible after providing for everything. Maybe a memory card slot can help the problem. But still given all this this would be definitely the best phone in this segment. Finally a great pick from Motorola.

I got this phone as a lucky draw winner, and was super delighted to see that it's rather good, with a rich and clear display, and good camera.
while many good brands have displays that look, to me, cheap and as if applications/ menu options are stuck on a paper (well, that's how some look to me).
I've used it for 2 days, and really like it. while i'm addicted to my current widows phone that has a 5 MP camera, I think i'll make a switch as soon as I get the Motorola migration software on that one, and transfer my stuff onto this one. the moto g also has a 5 MP camera, but pictures are a lot sharper than that of the other phone, probably because of the flash which is super-bright!
In all, i'd give a thumbs up to the Moto G, and say that even if I had bought it at the market price (Rs.12,000 or US$ 200, approx) I would still say it's a good phone to have at that low a price. but I got it FREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! YAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It wont, because the Moto G is not fitted with a gyroscope.
