yousaf, 23 Apr 2014which is better performance and speed wise desire 500 or moto g?Definitely go for Moto G. Because it is new and Desire 500 is quite outdated (not too much) and HTC has really bad history of updating its mid-price ranged handsets.
Besides it is priced very high.

cancer12, 23 Apr 2014what about camera, plz update, better than samsung or not??Moto G has very poor camera.
Better in Sunlight but gets bad in less lighting condition but , if you are a casual snapper like me than this phone is better.
Only if you are casual!! You get what you paid.

AnonD-90345, 23 Apr 2014Hi Guys, I hear lots of weird stuffs like sim card not dete... moreYes! there are some problems but for very fewer no. of phones, its highly unlikely that you can receive such default piece cause Motorola have already received these problems and have started working on it.
                    My opinion GO FOR IT.

Hari, 24 Apr 2014Dear all Moto G users kindly suggest me one thing that whet... moreMoto G 8gb version has 5gb memory free and for 16gb version it has 15gb. So you have to guess which one is better for you.
I personally recommend 16gb version because it is just 1,000Rs (or less) costly than 8gb one and its always better to have extra memory in your pocket, doesn't it?
                        Hope you like my opinion.

srkt, 24 Apr 2014i am very much confused in samsung grand quatro and moto g ... moreQuadttro is a nice phone, but if we compare both side by side Moto G leads with many points.
Moto G has 720p HD screen while Quattro has just WVGA screen and even if both the phones have same Processors, Moto G has superior graphics (has adreno 302 compare to Quattro has Andreno 203, which is poor).
The only positive reason Quadttro has is its Expandable Memory Card support and Camera Quality.

But if you are living in India (like I'm) the only problem araises is the Motorola's service centers, make sure you check this up.
And let me share my personal experience, Moto G is my first Android phone too and I'm using it for 3 months now and let me tell you this is really a very good phone in this price range.
                          Rating - 4.5/5
I hope you like my opinion.

Hari, 24 Apr 2014Dear all Moto G users kindly suggest me one thing that whet... moreIt all depends on your usage pattern..before now I used Galaxy Grand with 8G memory for a year and had enough memory left after installing my apps,so it was very easy for me to choose the 8G version Moto G and after installing my apps,I still got more than 2G memory left..so it's an individual preference...

Awesome phone.. great camera quality for the price range,, they carry qualcom quad core cortex a7 processors which gives awesome processing speed,, so chances of hanging are low with 4 potential processors handling processes simultaneously,,lot of internal memory so no need of external sd card,,good display with 233ppi pixel density,, good touch,,

Bought the Nokia Lumia 620 in August 2013. It is not the most user unfriendly phone even for a tech savvy person like me. Hated it from day 1, and it made my life miserable. Felt like flinging it every day. It was sticky, hanging from time to time, display flickering. Tech savvy as I was, I could not get the hang of it even after 8 months. Simple operations like making a call required 3 to 4 touches. Battery has to be charged twice a day.

Bought the Moto G a week ago. Enjoying every minute with it. The 4.5 inch display fits perfectly in the palm for one hand operation. Any larger and that would not have been possible. Android Kitkat (out of the box) is an amazing software. The phone is fast, fluid and sings when you touch it. Never a dither. It is so user friendly that I had it up and running in 30 secs flat and using it like an expert within an hour. Transferring the contacts from the Lumia to the Moto was just a case of exporting the outlook.com contacts as a csv file and importing them into a separate Gmail account that I had set up for the purpose and which I use as my account for the phone. The camera with HDR enabled takes great photos. The speaker volume is loud and crystal clear. Downloaded Cloudskipper which makes an ideal music player (Google player sucks) and the sound is great. The FM Radio adds zing to the music experience. The incoming calls are crystal clear and the phone picks up even the weakest of signals both Mobile network and wifi. Battery with power saving enabled lasts me two full days and I have 15-2-% to spare and that is a relief. The Email app with push mail is amazing and I can access 3 different accounts. Switching to silent mode is as easy as pressing a button, and into aeroplane mode as easy as swiping the notification screen. The factory widgets are useful and the direct call widget is a boon that has enabled me to set up speed dialling to 10 contacts from the home screen. The browsing is good with Opera Browser (not mini or classic) with large font and word wrapping that makes reading webpages easy. Chrome sucks. Moto assist is a fantastic app that leaves you in peace when you are sleeping or in a meeting, yet making sure that your favourites can reach you. Factory loaded quick office makes carrying a tablet redundant.

This piece of techno-art is on par with ((maybe even, better than) the much more expensive Samsung Galaxy S 5, Sony Xperia SP or Z1 and even the iPhone 5. Really value for money. Let's see how it holds up with use.
