If u want to capture your phone’s screen,
press and hold both the
Power and Volume down key for
three seconds, or until you hear the
camera shutter click.
To see the screen image , touch
Apps > Gallery > Screenshots
Touch and hold the image for files
and sharing options, which will be at
the bottom of the screen. :)

The Moto G takes up to 32GB. For the battery no complain.

All the screenshot apps on Google Play that I saw require the phone to be rooted to use.
I don't see what is complicated about about the method I described. You capture the screen by holding down the Power and Volume/Down button for 3 seconds.
Then go to Gallery, swipe in from the Left and select Albums. Screenshots are in their own Album. What is complicated about that?
