No lags, no BS, as a good almost excllnt cl phone should work. people say the camera is regular but for me is spectacular. Im planning to buy the nexus 5, bt not because the Moto G is a pice of crap, its because im giving it to my Bro.

It could be a bug in Software itself (jumps from 75% to 20% but after restarts shows correct)or a faulty battery. I charge my Moto G ONLY from PC as its just easier for me. I have my WiFi turned on almost all the time and never noticed anything wrong with battery like you mentioned. Make sure your phone is 90-100% charged when taken off charging and DONT ever overcharge your battery or recharge from 40-50% to full too often.
EDIT:
IN ONE OF MY LAST POST I SAID: "Older and much slower S3" and what I meant to type in there was "Older and much slower S2". Moto G scores similar to S3 in AnTuTu4 Benchmark. My apologies.

imti, 28 Jan 2014Does any one know how to roll back the kitkat update, I am ... moreu dont need to rollback or root ur phone....here are 2 ways of doing it
1.For Reading only USB access..doen load and install nexus media importer...it will give u auto usb mount as well.
2 for both read write access
download a software from play store USB Stick plugin (Trail)...it will ask u to download Total Commander from play store....let it install.....after that u can use ur OTG cable to plug and red write fles from usb....but auto open USb will not be working

Ok its my fault but what troubles me is that in just five days how can a reputed company's handset behave such a way? Showing 75% battery, then switching off showing ZERO battery. This what bewilders me.

After fiv... moresame here dear copy same issues.....additionally I get my phone volume levels very low after once I switch on speaker phone during a call... after that call until i reboot my earpeice volume keeps very low...these are some software issues dont worry there will be a update soon

Only stuff left is your Music, Photos, Videos and such that you put in the phone by yourself. think for a bit what could FACTORY RESET mean. Phone or Motorola is not the ones to blame here just yourself.

If what you want is a simple, easy to use phone and you dont care if its a locked Sustem then get HTC based on WindowsPhone or any Nokia Lumia. I had many phones in my life including Galaxy S4. Dont overpay for iOS "because its Apple then its awsum". I recommended Lumia 820 to one of my friends who had same needs as You and after 6 months she says that this was the best buy EVER.

This was my first android phone. I have done external factory reset as told by motorola following steps they asked me to do. And know what? It removed my whatsapp and hindi input i downloaded from google play.
This is disgusting.

I am from India and got this phone 16 GB from US. After five days of use my phone automatically shuts off though the battery was 75% and it rebooted itself and then it showed 0 % battery. I dont know why this happened, any clues?Also i am experiencing difficulty in listening to the calls. Does any one else also faced same problems? I have installed only one app from play.google--Google Hindi Input app.

it seems we have different "smartphone" standards! office documents management and amendment, video watching is not on my priority list, but to be able to pick up a call is.
you are probably right and i might have a faulty unit.

Good luck with trouble free transvering Office files, PDF browsing, File management. other then that HD in MKV or MP4 playback. If you really had so many trouble with this phone and factory reset didnt help then you most likely had a faulty unit. Like I said I have it for over 2 months and only problem I ran into was that I had to move my satnav licence "to a new device" after KitKat update from Tesco. Also I never had the "email sound" problem you mentioned and I have Outlook and Gmail on it 24/7. I dont use podcast so I cant comment here but I have PowerAMP for music and its ALWAYS pausing on incomming call.

unfortunately this is my experience if you are happy with this phone i'm happy for you, but this is not meeting my "smartphone" standards!
