too bad it got no memory slot.. another storage option is online like cloud or dropbox or whatever it is.. 16gb is a decent compare to 8gb.. i wonder, phone like this should have card slot for storage.. i wanted it but think gonna stick with my current Atrix 2.. its not much diffrence apart from OS, CPU/GPU.. plus Atrix camera decent compare to this.. 8mp HD with the 8gb internal and expandable memory

there should be memory card slot, cause most of the people fill memory full in their phones

andy, 04 Jan 2014hello friends..i know the motorola moto g support usb otg, ... moreI just tested video via usb OTG. I use Samsung Note II. Use MX PLAYER app. It is working fine. It is smooth. I can copy file from HP to flashdrive. And from flash drive back to HP. I want to buy MOTO G but it is not available yet in my area. Hope this give you some hint

hello friends..i know the motorola moto g support usb otg, but it is possible to playback a video format(720p) mp4,wmv,etc from flasdrive...i mean can we playback movie from pendrive/flashdrive on moto g?..sorry for my poor english

stopping google services in settings->apps->running gives a significant boost in battery life. Also newer versions of motorola camera app from play store offer better camera performance.

AnonD-220790, 03 Jan 2014Its a cheap device but google forgot to add mobile charger ... morewow so fickle of you. reason why no charger with phone to keep cost down and most people have a spare USB charger and if you ask nicely when your brought your phone you would have got a charger for free! also the phone can change colour not just black for example white!

I am really happy with my purchase, I broke my Motorola RAZRi and needed a replacement phone quick. Now, I bought the Moto G as a cheap tempory phone but, it has become much more. The graphics are great, the battery life is average, and it has a Quad-Core snap dragon processor. I paid £130.00 for the 8GB model, 8GB is not really enough for me but, it's not the phones fault - I should have purchase the 16GB model. The phone comes boxed with a wire and not a mains plug for enviromental reasons, not because google are slacking. It's 2014, this may sound ignorant but surely everyone has a USB mains plug. Overall I am very happy with my now not tempory phone! Also, KitKat is yet to come, Hooray!

Its a cheap device but google forgot to add mobile charger in the package, which is very bad. They give a USB cable only, and height of ignorance is that they give white USB cable with black phone. Overall I will rate phone 2.5/5.

This is not a good spec.. i didn't like the idea of no memory card slot and inbuilt battery.

Too bad it doesn't have a mem card slot and the battery is not removable...
