normaneko, 09 Dec 2013in spec sheet, yes...but in reality -xperia l has better s... moreNo bro, not only in spec sheet, it also beat on real world performance.
This is snapdragon 400 new version(quad core) based on cortex A7 architecture. Xperia L also has the same architecture Cortex A7 with only 2 cores.(Both have same GPU)
Camera is decent in Moto G.(note: the camera app may get update in future like the Moto X. Motorola has made the camera .apk file separately, so we can download future updates just downloading the app from play store, like the Moto X.)
You may not notice the screen, but it's a fact. Moto G has one of the best screen in a budget smartphone. HD resolution with 329 ppi.(much sharper screen than xperia L). It also has better viewing angle & contrast than Xperia L. Just hold the two device side by side, you will notice the difference.
Every tech sites and blogs praises the battery life of Moto G. So no doubt here. Qualcomm mangaed to increased performance with superb efficiency.
Heavy graphics games store some files in phone memory, despite moving to SD card. Bcoz some files need to be in internal memory to run the app properly. Also app runs significantly better and reliably if it is stored in internel memory. MOTO G has unified phone memory. It also supports USB on the go out of the box. Also the 50GB free google drive from Motorola is a bonus.
Moto G will get Android 4.4 (Kitkat) in january. Show me a single budget Android phone with kitkat now. (Note: Kitkat has been optimised for 512 MB Ram devices, while Moto G has 1GB RAM with no custom UI. It has stock android with only two moto apps.)
Moto G is the best budget smartphone money can buy now.

DeadPool93, 09 Dec 2013the Xperia M has NFC and it cost about 12K in indiaBut Xperia M doesn't have Android 4.4, specifically "Pure" Android 4.4!

krish, 09 Dec 2013moto g better than xperia l.......in spec sheet, yes...but in reality
-xperia l has better single core performance
-xperia l (on 4.1.2) has better camera
-xperia l has expandable memory via micro sd
        while
-moto g has better secondary camera
-moto g has sharper screen, but even I won't notice much of a difference since I use my phone from 20-30 cm distance from my eyes
-they said moto g is more battery efficient....but you know, moto g use quad core, so somehow I doubt it, especially for a long term usage

I'm using xperia l and to be honest I'm interested with this phone...but I'm still not sure whether I should replace my xperia l with this phone or not

The FCC/IC have stipulated that SAR should be measured at both hip level (making calls while carrying the phone at the waist) and at head level (making calls with the phone put next to ear). So you are almost certain to see two SAR values for the FCC/IC standard.

The Council of the European Union only requires the measurements at ear level so most manufacturers don't measure SAR at hip level for European models. So in this case you are almost certain to see a single SAR value only for the EU standard
          :)
