    moto g user, 23 Jan 2015ya i checked it. both ver are same but its not realsed by m... moredude some users are getting official update notifications....as i said before both versions are same ...if you still want to downgrade to kitkat please visit XDA forums it is quite easy to down grade to kitkat.Then you will get notification from Motorola itself... so dude don't worry
    As for me iam happy with my update. even if i don't any future updates from Motorola i can still get the same from xDA forums.

          johnv, 23 Jan 2015no need to downgrade...both versions are same... please che... moreya i checked it. both ver are same but its not realsed by motorola . Morever, not getting any update in future

            Its like buying new handset alltogether.

            Will share user experience after a week as this is just a fist few hours after downloading.

                                please tell me how to downgrade 5.0 to kitkat becoz its is not official update and further not get any update . so its is best for me to get offical update by motorola.

                                        AnonD-207936, 22 Jan 2015no..after installing this version of lollipop moto will not... more@veer22541 ... Motorola doesn't encourage this type of updating that is why they are saying that you won't get any future updates & void your warranty etc.
                                        You know why if every one starts updating by downloading the zip file from XdA forums then what is the use of OTA update when Motorola finaly release it?
                                        ..so this update is mainly for those who can't wait for the update from Motorola itself.
