Is it realy upgradable to lolipop v 5.0
If so then its nice but it should have at least kit kat v 4.4.2 from starting

Moto G is not a bad phone, but, it does more than you want it to do.
All incoming mail comes on computer, Ipad and smartphone, (Motorola Moto G), which we like to keep under the same name at internode.
If you delete mail from smartphone, it deletes that mail at the same time from the Ipad,
something we don’t want.
If you delete mail from Ipad, it does not delete that mail from the smartphone.
I spoke to 3 retailers, they had no answer. Is there a way to correct this ?

Preciously I had SE NEO MT15i - so there is nothing to compare - this handset is awesome - the screen is very bright - everything works, the net is very fast (I have LTE version) - what is annoying is that the maps from GPS sat nav download on the internal memory, and without editing configuration files - you are unable to transfer it manually to the external sd card (this is CoPIlot failure) - the same is fith saving videos and photos made by system camera.

Overall, a very good phone. The bad side that irritates me is that whenever I am using my ear phones and the phone's screen light goes off, there is no way to turn it on. So I cannot check any contacts while using the earphone or Wi-Fi earpiece. The only way then to turn on is to disconnect the call or connect the charger in between for the screen to become active.

jay_z, 30 Oct 2014my moto g front glass got cracked, is the front glass alone... moreThe front piece is to be replaced.Rather than pay out the nose i suggest hitting up eBay for a screen replacement and taking it once you have the replacement to your local phone shop and it's alot less money, as you just pay for the service not the parts and you dont have to wait a few weeks for them to order and recieve said part. I break phone screens like mad as I have the dropsies,lol. eBay ALWAYS has the replacements for around $3-5 free shipping.

I find sometimes its better to manually go in and update it, if it shows no update uninstall then reinstall. That usually works for me. The moto G is a very touchy phone it seems one little update missed and it goes "AHHHHH!" basically lol.
