AnonD-197615, 18 Oct 2014Which is better moto g vs redmi 1s moto g is good phone, there was a few that i dont like about moto g....
q
1) bit small. difficult for me to type without making mistake. good for those who are having nice little finger
2) when you receiving a call the voice of the caller is bit sharp. i dont like it. to me nokia is the best eventhough their cheapeast phone had much better sound quality.
3) if you buy the first generation it came with 4.3 jelly bean. dont upgrade it to kit kat. many are complaining about it. just stay with tha jelly bean. so far i had twice problem that my audio did not came put while playing youtube. i have to do factory setting. but most of them in forum sugggest for hard reset. ( switch off the phone then press volume up volume down and later power button alltogether. you will enter recovery mode. use your vol down to scroll and vol up to select. when you see the broken robot icon press vol up and power button together. select clear cache and partition. it will reboot later.
good luck. but moto g is a good phone, only minimal problem. value for money.

now i m using moto g for the past 3 weeks. in the first place after unboxing i updated it to kitkat 4.4.4. the audio not functioning while playing youtube eventhough maximum volume. i factory reset it, then it function normally. yesterday the same problem arise. the audio will not come out. ill try to call to other phone. eventhough my call was connected nothing was coming out from the earpiece, again i have to restore to factory setting. luckily it functioning back as usual. but the problemme are that all my photo etc was deleted when i reset to factory default. any idea what to do if it happen again without i have to reset to factory setting?
i did contact with motorola. it said software wise they cant do anything as it came from google.
help me with this problem. so far i never come across such problem to any of my devices, S2, xperia SP, nexus 5 and mi3.

Hi, I bought MOTO G 1st Gen and in 2nd month i was facing problem in my device....my device was getting factory reset automatically and i was getting email's from ANDROID DEVICE MANAGER stating that REMOTE ERASE REQUESTED.customer support is not able to resolve my problem since 1 and 1/2 month they are still trying.i had done all the possible activities as suggested by customer support and service centre....Does any one knows solution about it....i think the problem might be due to upgrade of kitkat to 4.4.4 in 2nd month of buying....can anyone downgrade my kitkat software to 4.4.3???

Hopeless experience from Motorola customer support as well as Motorola service center Pune I.e PC SUPPORT Pune near sun Nd sand Bind Garden these guys have one small servicing center with no proper conditions to sit because no proper ventilation no fans and the people working there do as if they are doing favour on the people coming there, they don't have any ethics to give a follow up of the status of the phone they dont pick the phone nor rectify the problems intact they increase the problems in 10 days they have changed motherboard twice and even LCD panel still phone hangs etc I don't recommend this phone instead buy other phones
