Xiaomi for example downgraded the speaker quality on the Xiaomi 10s with an update. Sometimes camera quality has been downgraded too. Sometimes new software versions also come with bugs that didn't previously exist. At the end of the day, manufacturers want you to update as soon as possible. There is no gaurantee that updates will improve a phone.

I really love my "white" G100,I got the 12/256 version (because it's the only option I have in my country),and I just love this phone,before it I always had iphones and Samsung S phones,I don't think a lost a lot by switching to Motorola... Oh and the macro camera is the best in the market in my opinion.

More powerful SoC, bigger battery, no bloatwares besides Moto apps that can be disabled, no knox, can connect to a monitor in dock mode, etc. Is cheaper too if you look around.

Samsung put in a cheap digitiser so the screen does detect the touches in a wrong way.
Updates made it less appearant but the issue is still there.

But makes you wonder why is this the premium all-rounder by GSMarena. It doesn't seem half as premium as my Mi Note 10 Lite from almost two years ago. Tbh if it had 5G, it would be very irreplaceable even now.
