888+ is an upgrade
108MP is an arguable upgrade
144Hz is an upgrade
Faster charging is an upgrade
The only arguable downgrades are lack of headphone jack, no 6k video (for whoever actually used it) and no sd card slot.
Also where is it double the price??? the price is only like 100 more than the G100s price.
You thinkin of a different phone maybe????

If you buy a phone with a SD 888, you expect to be able to play games at nearly their highest settings. Why would you buy a phone with an SD 888 to play games on low setrings and browse the web? I mean you can... But why waste the money? Get a quality mid ranger like the pixel 5a 5g.

New o... moreI think the Edge plus has already 2 years, still it has an OLED 90hz screen, but be careful it was quite problematic with green tint issues. Not all of course, my Edge is working fine since day one. Oh, and you have stereo speakers too.
Even with an IPS screen the G200 has a 144hz screen and is pretty sharp, more powerfull and recent also more cases unlike Edge plus.
If you really want the Edge, go for the Edge 20 pro, even with mono speakers and no wireless charging is a better phone overall.
If you don t care about OLED screens the g200 is a pretty good deal! And has better fast charging too 33W so is the Edge 20W

I am considering between this and Motorola Edge Plus. New one be bought for 430 euros at the moment which seems to be less than G200. Edge Plus seems to be in many ways a better phone, however, I hate curved screens with passion (maybe I have to overcome this hate).

A consumer has the option to build a PC to almost any specification of their choice. Phones on the other hand, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer, which leaves people with very few options to get the features that they want. For most people when choosing a phone there is almost to always a compromise. That is deliberate to keep you hoping for a more feature complete phone next year which will never happen.

and they still keep on leaving out microsd, audio jack, irda, fm radio... which are simple and useful features. The more expensive, they get the less features they got. They imitate the worst out of iphones. Bah. My 5 y.o. smartphone has them all, it's absurd

Just sucks that Moto finally followed the trend of removing jack & sd slot. Worse it doesnt even have Stereo speakers. Guess will have to ditch Moto & my last phone will be their G100. Probably gonna go Sony sometime soon.
