Anonymous, 07 Nov 2022Glad to read that you are happy with this device...the Pric... moreThat 160 € = $250.13 AUD
Would have been nice to have the 6GB mem, but alas nowhere here in Australia could I find the 6GB version.
I'm still happy, I enabled the option to use 1GB internal mem as system memory (5GB system memory is fine for my use atm).
Bang for buck at this point in time this phone is a pleasure.
My only dislikes are:
The pull down menu at the top of the sceen uses oversized rectangle shortcut buttons.
Instead of the little round buttons, basically in my other phones 1 row fits upt to 6 icons.
In this phone 1 row fits 2 icons (basically 2 + 2 stacked ontop of each other when you pull down the menu to stage 1)
For me it just makes the navigation more cumbersome/clunky.
Also no shortcut button for the torch from either the pulldown menu or the double tap power button quick menu (I do like the double tap quick menu on the power button).
Sure you can use the gesture for torch but when I have the phone in my shorts pocket and I go for a jog the torch activates randomly at times, so I don't bother leaving the torch gesture on anymore.
Last gripe it the rediculous oversize multi line Clock on the lock screen if you don't have any notifications.
Regardless of what clock widget your using on the swipe screen and desktop, the lock screen has that damn ugly oversize 2 line rubbish clock that can not be changed via normal interface setting methods.
Even with my gripes still love the phone all the same...lol

I bought this phone, it's fine except for the camera, it takes very poor pictures, either I don't know what settings to make, or I have problems with it.
If someone can help me with an answer.

I got this phone for $269AUD, and it's really impressive how good the value is. It's got features that you wouldn't expect, like a 90Hz display. The battery life is over 2 days which is awesome. The headphone jack and FM radio were one of the main benefits for me, and why I switched from a Google Pixel 3. The built-in headphone DAC is integrated into the SOC and is perfectly sufficient, with higher volume capability than the dongle needed for the Pixel.
The gestures are actually useful, such as shaking the phone to turn on the torch. Included in the Australian model were the charger, cable, headphones and preinstalled case. This is far more generous than the expensive flagships of today, with only a charging cable.
The only weak point is the camera, and the back is prone to fingerprints.
Overall this phone is incredible value.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2022Well, my 6/128GB Version (198 €) does have FM-Radio...
apa... moreBought 4GB/128GB version for $249.00 AUD
I love this phone for price vs performance.
For an unlocked phone with this type of hardware in this price range is great value.
Really not a lot of choice in my local area for my situation.
Has FM radio, which in cyclone season is brilliant since cell towers end up down when cyclones hit (yes I live where we actually have a cyclone season...lol).
Where as FM radio seems to keep on working.
Not to mention anytime local free FM stations without chewing my limited prepaid data is a plus.
WiFi file tranfers between my devices is fast and effortless.
Bluetooth also works well and effortlessly.
(Devices I currently connect with: headphones, keyboard, mouse, xbox controller, another phone, laptop, TV, fridge and aircon)
Sound wise the phone works well, even the headphones that come with the phone have a warmth to the sound compared to my last phone headphones.
Sure not mega sound but reasonable sound.
After removing the native google bloatware the phone is very pleasurable to task with mutiple open apps.
Sure multiple major memory eater apps will bog the phone down with the limited 4GB memory.
A few basic apps works fine eg: vlc with music playing, firefox surfing the net with a few open tabs and running my banking app, all works well to quickly dart between them.
Obviously for others this phone may not be all that, but for me it works well and what I'd expect at the price point.

The ab... moreWell, my 6/128GB Version (198 €) does have FM-Radio...
apart from that, it does a Lot of Things right in this price category:
6 GB RAM, dedicated SD Card Slot, compass, Stereo speakers, 90 MHz refresh rate (I use only 60, though, for battery saving reasons), fast charging...Cherry on top would be notification LED, but one can not have it all :-)))

Anyone have one of these?
Does it have FM Radio?
The above specs here say it does but anywhere else I read about it's specs doesn't mention FM Radio.
Already been caught out with my current phone from reading specs here that are not always accurate.
EG: Bought Vivo Y21s after reading specs here saying yes to FM Radio, but it does not have FM Radio at all (not even a deactivated chip).
