I am confused. This is sold in KSA with 6+128gb storage and 20W turbo charging at about the same price suggested here.
Everything else looks identical from the colour options to the name to the chip to the cameras etc.

number, 30 Jun 2022Looking online it seems the G42 is also only being released... moreyeah man... its launching tomorrow in india. most likely price will be below g52 but idk about this thing. It would have been better if moto made a phone with better processor than sd 680 and then cost cut in some specs like speakers or prob lcd instead of amoled. That way people would have had the option to pick a powerful smartphone or a balanced smartphone in same segment from same company.

If I am not mistaking, the g52 is india exclusive. So it will make sense if motorola wants to make a global rebranded unit of g52 by changing some stuff here and there. I hope that is the purpose of this. Otherwise if they launch this along side with g52 in india market, it will make no sense cause it will just cause more confusion through out the customers

I watch your comments about the chips, and i wonder is it better to buy a last year moto, or a new like this? I have concerns because of the policy on updates,i believe it's better to buy with android 12 on it. want a near stock android experience,bus also want the gestures,also looking for nokia g21,any help; ( I'm overthinking this i have a redmi note 4.)

This is basically the g31 with an ( ironically ) improved from 10w to 20w charge . Perhaps there´s no `g32´- and this replaces it.

33 watt charging --> 20 watts
48MP OIS --> cheaper 50MP without OIS
G85 is still marginally better than the Snapdragon 680 which is a rebranded 662.
You could argue that this one comes with Android 12 out of the box, but unless that's super important to you, I would go with the G41 (if we're looking at Motorola's budget phones).

if it gets Android updates up to say 13/14, I'd recommend holding onto it until something like Android 17 drops.
