Hardware-wise this smartphone is good, but it is lacking in software features and its software has a lot of bugs.
First of all, it throttles aggressively even at 38°C, which doesn't go away even after the temperature drops. So once your device gets heated up, you can't restore normal behaviour without a reboot.
Secondly, it doesn't support multiple freeform windows at a time. Android has this feature natively, but for some reason, Motorola decided to modify the behaviour.
Youtubers won't tell about these problems since they usually do their tests under controlled conditions and doesn't tell about the advanced features.
Last but not least, Motorola's service agents are not at all helpful. I had visited the service centre, where they don't seem to acknowledge the software problems at all.
If you want to purchase a good smartphone which has good software, go for Xiaomi or Samsung.

i love this phone. got it today i have been happy and this phone is a monster it works blazingly fast and it has monster processor. overall i would recommend others to buy this phone you won't regret.

i just recived my g45 today... it's awesome blazing fast. awesome camera. awesome battery. everything is awesome. except the screen you'll notice it on the go.
even is just 720p but that's ok you'll get used to it. overall this phone is a beast ❤️❤️

I want to buy it for my... moreBuy the Motorola G34. It is essentially the same device with essentially the same SOC as well.
The G34 is enrolled in the Android Enterprise program and should receive more timely updates. And, as far as I know, the European version of the G34 also comes with e-sim support, which is a huge plus at this price point.

Okay, it seems as though this device isn't just a simple re-skin of the G34 with a rehashed SOC at the helm. There do appear to be some actual improvements.
The display apparently is slightly more legible in daylight. I guess that's something. It's no Oppo LCD, though.
The device runs cooler than the G34. So there are improvements in the thermals.
The battery life has been improved. Apparently this one manages one or two hours (depending on usage patterns) of extra screen on time compared to the G34. Idle drain is also quite low.
The only downsides I can think of are the lack of a 256 GB storage option, and this device is not on the Android Enterprise device directory, whereas the G34 is. Also, no word on how good the GPS is (the G34 was excellent for the price in GPS). I also can't comment on the camera.

yeah. keep going with these 6.5 inches clones every few months. why they couldnt make a phone with 6.2, 6,1, 6 inches display ?
