Really awesome Mobile...I bought this phone two years back...still in 2019 November I'm writing this review on the same phone... Everything is excellent except the front camera and GPS ...I bought it for 7500 ...looks like cheap features ...But, those who use can only feel like a premium phone...Rear camera , Speaker quality, Screen, smooth touch, Snapdragon 410, battery everything is excellent...It can handle most of the day to day apps with the low grade CPU in 2019...Still now my phone handles every task smooth and great...Mic quality also remarkable ..i used this Mic for my shortflims audio rerecording. Nowadays mobiles are cheap you can buy 4 gb ram mobiles for same price . But, i bet the quality can't match old phones....Love you Motorola G4 play.😍

Other than that the GPS is a little trash and lacks compass no complains about this phone.

I bought this phone on February 2017. I dropped it into water. Many times I thrown it just like old nokia phone. But no problem till now. Working smoothly. Nice mobile.

It is a bit old now and I will try to sell it. But it never let me down. Works great. If you aren't gamer or heavy user this phone is enough for you as it works with stock android with no bloatware.

I am really happy with this phone. I bought it on 25th march 2017 and i am still using this phone on 27 september 2019. I used this phone alot like minimum 3 hrs per day. Even i play PUBG In this mobile for continuous 2:30hrs in this 2gb ram phone and dont get heated. Still it works pretty well as i heard many memes for 2gb ram mobiles when playing pubg. But this phone is best even in 2gb ram . Now with the superb technologies (like i bought it for ₹9000 , and now i can buy in this price range a 3gb ram phone redmi 7S with too many features) , my mobile has become very old because very less features (not physically old) but still it really work well. No scratch , no battery problem. If i removed back cover now , it will still look like new phone. Superb phone . ❤️

I have had mine for three years and it has been absolutely great!! Few people use their phone so much as I do for absolutely everything, I even write A LOT on it. I can just be honest, it has never let me down. Now it's getting a bit old, but nothing that makes it hard to use. I paid ridiculously little for it when it was new and it will be another Motorola the day I need a new one. Now I have changed battery in this one. It is so easy to buy capacity you don't use for lots of money, but I bet few would find this phone incapable to do what they ask of it. Well... of course, my first GSM-Motorola cd160 was great too... They have been good, only to accept it. I still have a Triband in working condition...

The phone is good and I like it, is just that my own touchpad is broken so I need to replace it so I don't know where to get the touchpad so I need to ask if is there anyway I can get it so that I fix it and enjoy my phone again thank you

I've bought mine for 200 dollars and it's price is the same even after three years. Great phone for everyday use. Performance is good. Battery life is great. Camera is average. It is made of plastic but strong one. Very durable. I was about to sell it and buy new phone but decided to keep for now and just ordered new case. Overall if you aren't heavy gamer and play just some lightweight games it is great phone for you.

Highly underrated mobile is Moto G4 play.
Moto should have updated it to at least Oreo.
I didn't use this one for long time, but it was a great experience.
However, one can still update this one to latest iteration by installing custom rom.
I have updated my Moto G3 and G3Turbo with pixel experience rom. It may go on for at least a year or so.
Pie version for same is available for G4 play.

Guys, who u have updated G4 Play to official 7.1.1 Nougat, can u inform me about the camera performance & battery backup on nougat? Is the camera & battery performance remain similar to Marshmallow or decreased? And are you facing any other issue after updating to official Nougat?
