During calls and on 3g calls there will be slight heating near the camera.
Well because of the old processor, if we play games for more than half an hour it will start heating up. And if you are playing subway surfer type games then the game interface might even become slow. It is because of the low clock speed and the processor.

And both G4 play, E3 cameras are the same. Its all about the differnce in processor and battery.

Guys.. seriously, which one should i buy ?
Redmi 3s prime or Moto g4 play !!!
I have booked 3s prime in Flipkart but the seller didnt process it yet. So, between all the discussions below, I am really confused which one to go with.
I am well aware of the hardware difference, performance and multi-tasking between both.
My main concern is value for money and I don't want to face any issues after a month of usage or with in, also not to be disappointed with my choice.
SO PLZ SUGGEST A VALUE ONE.

sid, 13 Oct 2016I had ordered g4 play my friend was sayjng it is having a h... moreWell if he plays games especially the medium and heavy games then it will hang as the processor is an old one and the clock speed is low. 2GB RAM is there. But the processor and clock speed are the main components which decide whether a phone will hang when handling complex (lots of gaming, very quick and rough multitasking) operations. For me, I've had no issues with the phone so far all thanks to God.
If the person who is using the phone is facing the issues like hang/heating even though he is not playing a lot of games, then I'd say that's not normal.
If you are not looking for a budget phone and want to play games on the phone, then you should opt for the higher models(which costs 10-15k) with better snapdragon processor and a clock speed of 1.5GHz or more :-)

nitin, 11 Oct 2016is e3 good for gamingIt is packed with 1 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P with Mali-T720 MP2 and 2 GB RAM I doubt it will be a good gaming one. I know that temple run and similar games run on it but if we play it for more than an hour, it will start to slow down a bit. High end games both e3 power and g4 play can't run smoothly.

1) a light gamer and one who needs the turbo charging
2) one who surfs internet continuously, searching, chatting, shopping on different sites, using the locations services and to watch some videos and all
3) one who doesn't need an extraordinary camera clarity (8mp is average)
4) one who needs a good/average battery
5) one who needs a budget phone with a great UI and also the brand name of moto
6) one who wants the stock android experience
Before buying, do check if moto service centers are available in or near your city. Since this is more of an online exclusive phone, they won't let you replace or return it. You might have to go to the service center for help if you get a defective model or anything like that.(I'm just being negative don't worry :-D ). Do check.
Also, if you are willing to spend an extra 4 to 5k,you can buy the moto g4 4th gen which has the fingerprint technology, a better camera, 3000mah battery and a better processor.
But, if you are looking for a budget phone, then go ahead with this one. Don't expect a lot of stunning features for the price. As I've mentioned earlier, this is just a budget phone.

Hmmm ! Phone Name-Moto G4 Play !
i don't why moto use this Name G4 Play ! it's sound like this phone is for playing !!!
and when u see the Specificatioms.....
it has only
Chipset--Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410
CPU Quad-core -- 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53
And
GPU--Adreno 306
only one think is good in this phone Android 6 AND it's planned to upgrade to v7.0 (Nougat)
which is really good ! .....

suresh, 11 Oct 2016Hi g4play users i bought new g4play just 3days back .mobile... moreThat happens because most of phones consider earphones as hands free profile. When you remove earphones, it switches to normal profile and phone stops all apps for time till it finishes the task of profile change.
That's why your music stops. This will happen with other phones too, not just Motorola. Your music will stop even when you get an incoming call or SMS. Call,SMS are primary function and music secondary function. So it's default protocol to attend primary function first.

Hi g4play users i bought new g4play just 3days back .mobile is amazing.,nw I'm facing one music problem ,when I'm hearing song from music player,suddenly when I remove the earphone the music will not play.... automatically silent.
Plz give any solution on this

Far better device than Sony xperia xa for less the money
