Performance is very good. Build quality is quite durable. Inserted 64GB SD card and now it has 80GB. Wow. And most important is stock android which is very smooth.

It's been 10 months I am using this phone. It is a good phone with nice camera and good sound quality. I recently updated to Nougat and it's battery backup increased even more.
Pros of this phone are :
Great sound quality
Very nice back camera and decent front camera
Wireless FM radio
Stock Android experience
Amazing battery backup
Now comes the cons
Limited range of wireless FM radio
No finger print scanner
From camera focuses only the person not the nearby things

I just purchased this as a extra phone to run Pokémon Go only. I had read it ran this app OK until I ordered now starting to see poor reviews.Just wondering if anyone knows how this app runs I would appreciate it. I don't care about the gyroscope for AR as I don't use it. Any advice appreciated!

Updated to Nougat 7.1.1... Performance is smooth. Battery life is even better. Multi window is available too.

Updated to 7.1.1 on XT 1602 a week ago. No problems. Battery life seems even better than on Marsmallow. Update included Android security patch November 1 2017. Just a few days later received and updated Android security patch January 1 2018 which is supposed to fix KRACK (WiFi) vulnerability. G4 Play is the best buy I've ever done.

Joe, 22 Jan 2018Thanks to Motorola. Just upgraded to Nougat now. Hope there... moreOthers are complaining about worse battery life. Just don't panic. Things you should do are - backup your personal data including contacts images music and more - update to nougat - after updating turn off you phone - go to recovery menu - wipe cache partition - factory reset - after reset just configure your settings and update/download your apps. Enjoy.

Thanks to Motorola. Just upgraded to Nougat now. Hope there wunt be any issues? I just connected to wi fi and clicked update and followed the instructions and that's that. Please any other thing i should know? Thanks

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2018Anyone facing battery draining issue after nougat update???... moreI am also feeling that the battery backup has been affected. Earlier it was very good. Now there is some constant drain. I cleared the cache partition but still no improvement.

Just recieved Nougat update notification.(India)! Will update tomorrow morning. Guys check your software update section(Indian users)

Got android 7.1.1 nougat update yesterday evening. Everyone who will get it don't forget to go to recovery menu and wipe cache partition and factory reset. Backup your personal data first. Overall performance is smooth. Changed some icons in app drawer. Split screen or multi window is there too.
