Good signal recipient, very good call quality, Faster internet (supports volte) Good battery back (last for 2 days for normal usage), No lags, Good performance and overall good budget phone for 12k. Blindly go for it and grab it on Wednesdays 2pm sale on Amazon.

SD 617 is a failure. I am observing heating issues for even normal usage but I hope that Lenovo/Moto release updates to curb these excess heating issues

Which one has better signal reception in low network signal condition? Moto g4 plus or Redmi Note 3? Feature wise RN3 looks complete in all sense barring a hybrid sim slot. Moto g4 plus is readily available whereas buying RN3 during flash sale is like booking a Tatkal ticket on IRCTC site...Can someone guide about the signal reception of these two phones, I need to buy one within this week...!

But th... morewe have seen that rn3 had got some updates. by means of these updates, the performance and other issues had been fixed. wait till moto g plus get updates then compare. snapdragon 650 is definitely faster than 617 but we need good performance on the phone.

According to Motorola's website this model is only offered in 16 gb with 2gb of ram and in a 64gb / 4 gb ram options

Even though 617 isNewer processor doesn't mean that it will cross sd650 in any departement.sd650 is just a more powerful processor in every departement.and seeing these capabilities of the processor sd650 and that too without heating Snapdragon renamed it from sd618 to 650 and from 620 to 652 so that people can differentiate the capabilities of processors sd650,sd652 are higher midrange processors which can be seen in many 30k devices .

How can you tell that moto g4 parts are not made in china. Motorola is a good brand name God only knows what is inside.

Both 650 and 617 are 28nm chipsets.
