worst phone i have seen in my life, list of drawbacks is long:
1. camera is protuding out a lot, camera lens prone to get scratches.
2. moto customer care is worst, they said i didnt ask you to buy the phone.
3. one can not even share a phone contact on sms, it can only go by sms.
4. there is no option of making notes.
5. no option of viewing camera pic the one you have clicked, one has to come out of camera and view the picture.
6. no gallery, only google photos
7. no video call
8. no compass
9. no dolby, not base.
10. heating problem
11. a very simple feature like select all is also not present. while if one wants to delete the some pictures or sms and has to select one by one than delete.
12. not a very handy phone.

Very Disappointing Experience
unlike earlier Moto phones this is worst phone .
Camera probably not 13MP.
strangely with Flash ON documents are illuminated while objects appears less focussed
RINGTONE volume very low.
Also call volume is very low
Even with Snapdragon& 3GB RAM,Not only apps but dialer also HANGED I am unable to disconnect call , sometimes need restart.(No Option TO Restart in Power button)
Profile schemes are not convenient, ie in silent mode everything is silent ,No vibration no song listening on headsets
Moto should have given customised OS.
No protection on screen.
Body is plastic only coated with metallic material.
Don't know why but my phone heats up during NET and Wi-Fi

Samo, 03 Sep 2017Moto g5 or xiaomi redmi note 4? And why?Well wow. These are two completely different devices. The redmi note 4 has a great CPU and chipset and a huge battery. On the other hand its camera is below average. While the Moto G5 probably has the best camera in its price band. While its CPU and chipset are much weaker.. even the 3GB RAM doesn't make it good enough for heavy gaming. Its weaker platform is probably why it's equipped with a small 2800 mAh battery. However both devices have good screens, though the note is half an inch bigger.

Poor sound quality
Photos take so long to load
Touch is really very good.

My review after using this device for 2 months.
Pros: Butter smooth and no lag.
Touch works extremely fine.
Fingerprint reader is blazing fast.
Apps open super quick.
Battery life under Indian sim-Average. Have to charge two times a day.
Foreign sim-Excellent battery life and gets more than one day.
Camera works spectacularly in daylight.
Cons: Camera struggles a bit during low light.
Takes little less than 3hours to charge.
Very immune to scratches.
Bad speaker quality.
No Moto dimple.
That's all. Perfect for the price you pay. Looking forward to the next Moto devices.

No Security Updates since March 2017 in MOTO G5 since Lenovo took it over. After sometime just name moto will remain & everything will be lost

Are u sure about its display , i saw a review, they told that xiaomi redmi 4x 's display is better than this , but how its 400+ ppi density where redmi 4x is 296 only ! ?? And i m not a gamer, but sometimes i like to play some game like ashphalt 8 or mc5 , but its only sometimes, so in this case does the graphics go well?

while charging my phone... its heat up too fast... while playing a game for 10 to 15 it's start heating up... anybody here... who is facing same problem????
