I don't understand the charging process, can someone explain after 30 minutes device shows 100 percent but the battery is draining - is it okay to leave the phone with the charger on. For those who wanted to know whether compass sensor is there - No. The rear camera focal length shows to be 4.28mm and front camera shows to be 2.44mm.

hoshang, 22 Mar 2017U must not compare Maruti Suzuki to Audi....Motorola G5 plus is not a flagship phone, it's midrange. Moto Z are flagship. Motorola is no more a US branded phone as before. It's now a Chinese phone made by Chinese company Lenovo.
Unfortunately Motorola are marketing inferior specs for G5 plus in India without compass, whereas Western countries model have superior specs

Firstly,I would say , IT IS OVERPRICED..
Average phone with average specs and average build..plastic mid frame
Nothing exciting or attractive features in the phone..
As all of us know about the cons..I will list them again..
1. Flimsy...Sim card tray with a pin to open it..no double push and eject
2. No USB-C connector..adjustable
3. No Compass..
4. Average Camera quality..Zoom it and it blurs, no laser auto-focus, cant identify the product they have used
5. Overpriced..
6. No LED Notification light..it would have been okay if they made this cost cutting reflect elsewhere
And the pro's are :
1. Come's with Nougat out of the box..
2. Hope to get future updates unlike Lenovo phones..
3. Use of home button for navigation.. Something I liked..
All I would say that if you are buying this phone then you are investing your money only for the software..not the hardware, what you get this time around is a truly Lenovo phone with Moto emblem..and that might be a good thing..
It definitely doesn't feels premium in hand as they say..
