G4 plus performance was bad due to SD 617.I hope SD 625 is way better in power efficiency and performance.

Even moto x play with 5.5" screen was only 148mm this thing is 150....why too much bezel??????

2gb ram is suggested based on a leaked picture.it is very much obvious that this will be base model and there will 3gb and 4gb ram model for higher prices. even redmi note 4 has 2gb ram model, g4 plus had one.

Yeah,there will be 3 and 4GB ram variants.The 2GB RAM model is only for a select region.Motorola is targeting the Indian market,owing to the tremendous success of the G4 Plus in the Indian Market.And because of that,you can be assured that they wont go back in terms of specs.

I wish they would make their phones waterproof like they did the moto g3. I bought the g4 plus for the better camera and fingerprint scanner but other than that I'd go back to the g3 just as soon as I'd get the 5plus.

There's no comparison of moto g5 plus with redmi note 4.redmi does not have fast charging, fast update cycle, corning gorlia glass. It is cheap for a reason.

Can't you see Lenovo p2 which has SD625 with 4gb ram which directly competes with moto z play. But moto z play has different camera, front firing speaker, front selfie flash, premium design and ofcourse moto mod support. Hence it has its own set of customers and plus points. Plus moto z play will get a update this year. Same with moto g5 plus it has ips lcd display instead amoled, different camera, smaller screen size, battery capacity, no moto mod support. So it will be too for different set of customers. Personally I am very happy Lenovo moto opted for 5.2 inch screen. 5.5inch phones are not practical and easy to use one handed on day to day use on the go. Lenovo is just trying to be like Samsung.
