Android 8.1 Oreo has started seeding to beta testers in some countries on G5+ . It bring many new features and fixes and comes with July security patch. Expected to hit normal users in few weeks.

Still no oreo now its another hoax/rumored g5 plus will get oreo in August they will keep spearding rumours for next month and so on and oreo will rollout god knows when it will come

Just now got june security patch update. Still no sign of Oreo. So pissed off. I'm planning to root this phone and flash pixel experience ROM available on xda developers. Has anyone done this before and if so, how is the experience with this ROM?

Got mine last year , after the warranty expired one month ago , the battery can't hold charge and the only two update over OTA for whole year.
Good luck if you are considering it as this phone doesn't last

The Worst part is that call is getting disconnected after 24 minutes of long call and every time i am getting the announcement that dialled number is invalid during call only.
