Sir for me GR3 is better because HiSilicon Kirin 655 is almost thesame power as Snapdragon 625 but the cores of HiSilicon Kirin 655 is similar to Snapdragon 650 series 2 of its powerful Cortex A-72 cores have high GHz while the 4 cores is on average GHz cause its only for battery life and energy effeciency cores while HiSilicon Kirin 655 of GR3 has 4 of its A-53 is powered at 2.1GHz while the 4 other cores is powered at 1.8GHz on Snapdragon 430 of Moto G5S 4 of its cores is powered at 1.4GHz while the other 4 cores is powered at 1.1GHz so in performance i prefer GR3 but in GPU hmmm I DONT KNOW because adreno is way better than mali but mali T830 is pretty better than adreno 505 also G5S has update to 8.0 Oreo in the future so u prefered:)

Camera quality in selfie camera in G5s is much better than g5 plus .Now included led flash ,more sensitive lens .Back camera's have led between brighter and soft when need.All led can use also with continue lighting during photo/video by stock software. Using a kind of straight beam .In full dark room bright well to take good photo at 1,5 m .GPS lock in 1-3 second in G5s .Updates on G5S plus latest on july 2017 .On G5s latest October 2017 .Overall construction looks better on G5s. More metal ,brighter mode screen ,better battery management .There is no notification led on both of them .This is also problem when charging battery.Don't know when is full charged .Attention about battery.Ιn some version there is no removable battery on G5S.

Some version maybe have not compass .Phones available from UK over Europe, mentioned have together with NFC function .Another question not answered for sure ,if the phone have notification led or maybe able by application . There is also a motorola application do that from the past.

OK, why did Motorola remove the compass from all their phones except this one?
It is essential for map navigation.
I would go for the G5s plus, but that one doesn't have compass.
Really big oversight.

people opt for g5 plus which is having way better processor at same price. I dont understand why motorola launched this while they already had g5 plus in market with better specs and same dimensions. I really cant find a reason. Is motorola the next samsung?

Breaks easily, unlike all other Moto G phones. Disappointing, don't bother.
