Camera tip .Try not use face detection in night photo.Always use flash on ,not auto mode, for people faces for night photos

An excellent phone with superior Full HD display and high resolution camera. The Android 7.1.1 works seamlessly with the high speed Octa-core processor. It has a good battery backup; an excellent smartphone from Motorola worth every penny.

Camera of this phone surprised me .Try some pro application from google store, pictures are bright and very good also at night.So roll back stock camera to initial version, turn it off, and use new application as main.If someone give a try ,for better result try not shoot at max. MP

GPS locks fast.So enable it for each navigation .Better use nav program with compass direction with pois and other info included .In this point,google maps is bad application compared.

I purchased the G5S as a backup phone. I used it on a trip to Vienna while my my Nokia 8 was in for repairs after a bicycle crash. The G5S did a stellar job on all fronts except with Google Maps in walking mode. Contrary to the phone specs on GSM Arena, the G5S does NOT have a compass. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moto_G5#Moto_G5S_and_G5S_Plus).
This has as consequence that Google Maps cannot show in which direction you are walking. It can only plot your position on the map.

Best VFM phone ,nice metal build.Very smooth operation,hope future updates don't break in.Very fast stable gps,nice photo camera also selfies one due flash.Back flash lights in a second dark room.Fast nfc,very good reception radio .Get hot sometimes on wifi use ,slippery needs case.Looks like some made in india ,maybe build variations for cost.
