I ordered MOTO G5S PLUS from AMAZON and received item on 14th May and till now i had not used it's camera but today when i was using it's camera , it CRASHED 3 TIMES and when i called amazon technical support they told me :
1. hard reset the phone
2. this is a know issue as many people have reported this.
3. soon motorola will issue a patch for this issue
4. WAIT UNTIL MOTOROLA ISSUE A PATCH
I asked that by doing this all my apps will go away which i have installed and the person said this is what the have
been instructed to solve this problem
there is no surety that such issue will not happen again and if this happen again then again i will be doing the same steps
and installing all apps again and will HAVE TO WAIT AGAIN TILL THE TIME MOTOROLA HAVE MERCY
such a faulty product should be returned without any question,
FOLKS PLEASE DO NOT BUY MOTOROLA PRODUCTS specially MOTO G5S PLUS

Moto G5s plus in undoubtedly one of the best budget smartphones out there. Excellent build quality and super smooth stock android combined with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal make it a tight competitor with flagship phone. I have used mi A1, honor 9 and oneplus 5 which are generally compared with moto G5s plus. Apart from oneplus, all the other listed phones are not upto the mark of G5s plus' performance. The HDR camera mode is terrific and produces high quality images even at dark. Selfie and Dark photography are two areas where even Oneplus 5 falls behind Moto G5s plus. Coming to the dual camera mode. Oneplus definitely has a better camera. Though I agree that G5s plus' dual camera mode was so slow and of low quality (in the sense of non desired blurness at some points), with frequent software updates, moto has made the portrait mode to work efficiently and produce high quality images which are better than Honor. Mi A1 and Moto G5s plus' dual camera images are almost similar. Moto does fall short in terms of minimum distance required to capture portrait images because of the lack of a telephoto lens. However, the portrait images taken are excellent and look pure. The quality of Oneplus camera should obviously be better because it is priced more than double that of Moto G5s plus. Still if you compare the pictures taken in both, you will not see the difference as you find on the price of the two. Mi A1 competes with moto only in the dual camera option and not in any other areas. Combining the flawless performance and excellent HDR pics combined with above average portrait images at an exceptional price, I can undoubtedly say that Moto G5s plus is one of the best. If you go through the other comments, you may feel like moto only has issues. There is nothing like that. Some online purchased phones will obviously have some issues. The option left is to replace them because the phone is really good.

But one full charge is live till 6hrs only. Very poor battery backup and charging support. Bought phone just one month back. How do I rectify it

The best phone i have used till now, i am not comparing this phones with chip sets which fall under 8 series but i am talking about those which fall under 6 series. Wonderful touch experience, speakers are the best, resolution is the best, build quality is awesome what not everything seems to be the best, forgot to mention the Battery, it works like magic, turbo charging, serves all day long ones charged. The best buy ever, i would advise anyone looking for a phone this is the one. Best of luck
