Looks like this time it won't be any different.
The official site clearly mentions the lack of NFC and the Magnetometer is conspicuously missing too. Therefore, to conclude, the US version will once again lack the NFC while the Indian version misses out on the Magnetometer (compass).

Anonymous, 11 Aug 2017extra camera sensor is important to stabilise the video and... morethat about cameras is nonsense... then samsung should be worst cameraphone? still no 2nd camera... second camera is a little bit gimmicky... wide angle , monochrome, telephoto... that's 3 types of secondary cameras avalible :) for good cam you must look at sensor, aparature,lens,software optimisation, etc best camera for low light is s8 one with f1.7 witch makes camera very very bright...
