Has any one noticed that the resolution on G6+ is 2160x1080 whereas SD630 supports resolutions upto 2048x1536.....SD636 supports 2160x1080

I hope the Moto G6 Plus is released in the UK *before* the end of April, otherwise I will be forced to buy another mid-range phone (possibly the Moto G5S, which I don't want).

nowadays i dont found any plus of buying a moto over the competition like xiaomi, i mean they are not the same moto they were before.. camera isn't up to date, they dont provide latest software update untill its too late.. mi A1 got oreo in 2017, but my G5s Plus is still on nougat and even magnetometer is missing and still costs more than mi A1.

BLS NE, 05 Mar 2018Why, why, why not put a decent battery in it...4000 mAh or ... moreA 3200mAh in a phone with this specs should last all day and then some even for heavy users. There is no reason for a bigger battery. Although if you're opposed to charging your phone at night while you sleep for some reason, there will be a Moto G6 Play with a huge battery.

Different versions of the same Moto G phones often have slightly different features.
Some Moto G5S models did support a cut down version of NFC while others didn't have any NFC support.
So if you must have NFC on your phone and you want a Moto G phone don't only look out for NFC support, make sure that is has full NFC support otherwise that "feature" may not be of any use to you.

Akm, 10 Mar 2018Why isn't battery size an important consideration. If only,... moreWith the quick charging (Turbocharge) technology in mid to top tier devices, and energy conservation built into the Snapdragon chips, bigger batteries are not needed especially with the Android 8.1 coming with a awesome energy and data conservation process regime.

AnonD-604766, 28 Feb 2018Moto should also pay attention to looks this time. No doubt... moreAgreed, liked the design with the G3, but the 4, 5 and 6 have lost their way IMO.

Why isn't battery size an important consideration. If only, the battery size was big, that would have set Moto phones apart as the best ones in Budget segments. Atleast, a battery of 4000-5000 Mah is important.

Why, why, why not put a decent battery in it...4000 mAh or better....I could get past other shortcomings if it JUST had a decent battery.
