Keep in mind that this process will delete all of your data so make sure you backup it before doing it. If you have any doubts search in Youtube about Motorola device rescue

Seriously it is the worst decision i ever made..every time I try to update the phone it shows package failed.. phone is very laggy and many a times it turns off due to this.. processor isn't as good as it was shown..only good thing about this phone is battery life and display is good enough...it also has network issues.

Jio 5G reception , 27 Dec 2022In G71 Moto I am getting very poor jio 5G connectivity stil... morePast two years I am using Moto g71 5g. Very much disappointed in 5g because network connection is not stable. Camera clarity is very poor when compared to Moto G5plus. Totally disappointed on Moto mobile due to G71. 5g model.

But with medium range I am getting 300-650 Mbps speed.
Definitely some sort of problem with network antennas

Bought this one as an spare phone since I found a good deal. Screen is pretty, would be even better if it had a higher refresh rate. Android 11 was fast on this thing, 12 not so much. It has way more stutters and things like that, but still a nice phone. Battery lasts forever.

I'm from India, I have the moto g71 5G device with Snapdragon 695, my device has the January 1, 2023 security patch alongwith February 1, 2023 Google Play System Update as on March 20, 2023, I advise you to retry checking for updates

You have to use the Motorola rescue and smart assistant program (https://www.motorola.com/us/rescue-and-smart-assistant/p) to upgrade.
The tool is only available for Windows.
I've done it on two Moto G71 5G mobiles already, it takes no more than 15 minutes.

Friends my Moto G71 5G was updated to 5g network on 23 November 2022. There after I have encountered Bug in my cel phone, that "whenever I try making WhatsApp Video Calling call, my front camera fails to open. Then i have to restart my cell phone, & then the front camera starts".
Any one else facing this problem?

Today morning my Motorola Moto G71 5G has been updated to 5G Network.
Security patch: 1 October 2022
Version : S2RUB32.51-15-9
Thanks to Motorola....🙏
