Some reviews on YT have surfaced. They've confirmed a Geekbench score of 2299 for multi core, and antutu score: 424k

But 930 may be good power efficient/battery
Name should be Dimensity 815/825 or 830
Real successor to 920 is probably 1050

Just sucks it cannot record or play upto 4k but gimped to only 1080p unlike Dimensity 920 so I think D920 still the better pick.

where did you get this strange info from?
motorola IPS panels are nothing extraordinary, and just like any other brands, most of them don't use PWM, and in those rare cases there is PWM - it only happens at brightness levels of 20% and below, unlike Xiaomi where it sometimes goes as high as 60% brightness...

can someone test if the screen of this model uses pwm? motorola is famous for using ips display that flickers just like amoleds (not always but i some models they do) sorry bad english

You're right! 😭😭😭
They make a claim that the G73 offers 30% more power.
In the small print it then states the following:
"Performance comparison is between moto g73 5G and moto g62 5G, Antutu overall benchmark scores of 430,544 and 327,395 respectively"
So it's 30% more powerful than the SD 480+
Which isn't bad.. But it's below the D920 and no where near the 778g/+.
What a shame!!!

Tom209, 14 Feb 2023That'll be such a shame if the D930 is a downgrade to ... morewell, looks like it is, it's got 300 Mhz less on the main cores and different GPU - Pover VR instead of Mali - which is also 25% slower... but 930 is mostly on par with SD 695 nonetheless, which is not that bad at all. people may think "oh, it 6-serie", but 695 performs at the SD 765G level. it's actually more along the lines with 7-serie performance-wise.
regardless, G73 is still an interesting phone, with IPS for those who got problems with amoled's PWM, decent 50 Mp camera with 1,0 µm pixel size, 256 Gb base storage, stereo speakers, big battery..

but Dimensity 930 has 2 A78 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz (vs 2.5 for 920) and
6 A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz (same as 920), so how it can be faster than 920 let alone SD 778 with its 4 A78 cores?
