Awaiting gsmarena review to decide between G62, G73, and G82. A loud speaker and built quality are important for me. Not bothered about the camera section.

. Battery not good. screen also causing bad eye strain & headache. Text too sharp & contrast too high + I think it flickering. Everythin else good but cannot use no more becaus to much strain

I have been using this phone as my primary device for a long time now.
important points that everone should know
1. Good UI
2. SAR is 1.4, idk why but other brands are at 0.9
3. Good LCD, on Day mode(not night mode) display gets bright enough to read text in bright sunlight.
4. Camera is above average.

-> Battery lasts like 9% per hour (indoors) with wifi on, mobile data always on has been turned off in develper mode and I turn it off too, auto for display refresh rate and all moto gestures on except move phone to enable peek, I keep phone at power saver when at home.
-> 16% per hour when outdoors i.e high brightness, auto refreshrate and 5G mobile data.
-> standby is like 6% drain for 9 hours.(wifi on overnight)
6. 5G speed is good
7. Fingerprint is 7/10, not the fastest for sure.
8. Face unlock is slow, maybe its secure?

Curiosity , 01 Apr 2023What's the Storage type in Moto G73 ?? I'm pretty sure it's UFS 2.2. I've seen some benchmarks, and the read & write speeds are good! Much higher than SD 695G based handsets.

Had for week and performance is impressive for general apps. pubg game run smooth too no lag. Stereo speakers are impressive sound output. Camera takes average pix and video. Battery is mixed bag. Sometimes good, other times drains quick randomly. I browse online and notice 1% dropping every 3/4 mins sometimes. Weird. As others said before, the battery ain't as enduring, compared to my previous ce2 lite 5g. That lasted waaaaay longer but wasn't as quick opening apps. Another minus is the TRASH call volume/loudspeaker. No one can ever hear me properly. Volume for calls is TRASH too. They need to fix this quick as is not loud enough for calls.
I'm also annoyed the price dropped after I purchased it 3 days later, the store reduced the price!!. #annoyed

I was sick of all the top range phones costing a fortune then performing poorly, so I thought I'd take a step back and get a nice mid-range phone for a change. Hasn't disappointed so far, the battery life is good which is a huge plus against the phone I got rid of, and I love the addition of the headphone jack, something other phones keep missing out for some reason! The only one slight problem I've noticed is when I attached an external camera (one of those ear cleaning jobs lol!) it wasn't as fast as it was on my last phone and tended to glitch a little bit. Not a major issue, just one of those little things. But considering all I truly want from it and need it to do, it seems like a great option so far. And the camera is great, even though it's lower pixels than my last one, which is a huge plus.

Well bought 2, one for me and one for Mrs Max. Had them two days now. We don't game on our phones, but watch the odd You Tube clip, play music, sur the internet, use Waze for navigation. Make calls, text and whattsapp. So today day two, battery down to 48% so happy with that. Camera is better than our Moto G8 Power. We have had the phone on a mix of 5g, wifi and 4g. So far we are impressed. Was easy to transfer all our apps and data from old phones. Speakers and sound brilliant, screen more than good enough for the price we paid.

Here in our part of the country, the sunlight is brighter than normal. Even in such conditions the auto brightness mode gives nice screen visibility and good images. But in this phone, the low light images are even better. As per my experience, moto g73 is a nice mobile and i am impressed. I have not shot any video so far. Let you know later.

What is the screen like outside on a sunny day? I have a Moto g6 and I'm considering the g73. The g6 also has an IPS LCD screen which is fine except when outside; on a sunny it's not easy to take photos as the screen isn't bright enough.
What are photos and video like?
