Anonymous, 22 Feb 2025LATAM ,Middle East and some East Europe version too I purchased a g75 on Amazon that turned out to be from Costa Rica - does not support wireless charging but does (according to settings) support eSIM. A learning experience - hopefully they will accept a return. Otherwise seems like a nice device.

🚨 It's confirmed! The NFC on Moto G75 does not have esE (Embedded Secure Element) Here's a support reply from one of Motorola's agents:
(Make sure to check the spec sheet on your local Motorola website, it might be region dependent)
"Since the Moto G75 has "non-eSE NFC," it likely cannot support secure NFC payments, like Google Pay or similar services, as it lacks the embedded Secure Element (eSE) chip needed for secure transaction handling. However, you can still use NFC for basic functions such as file sharing, connecting to NFC-enabled devices, and scanning NFC tags.
For contactless payments, you would typically need a device with eSE NFC support."

Is it true that Moto G75 doesn’t have NFC payments?
I’ve heard that the NFC on this phone can only be used for data tags. (Not contactless payment apps)

Just purchased one of these. It will not wirelessly charge under any conditions - 3 different Qi chargers which all work with another Qi phone, endless variations of orientation / placement / case on/off / charger power level, etc.
No apparently relevant settings to affect this. The phone just appears borked where Qi is concerned.

No one seems to give a general opinion of this phone, people seem to be stuck on a certain subject like eyesight and screens, need an opinion of all the aspects of the phone, have just bought one and it seems comparable to my old Huawei P20 which is still going strong since 2017, maybe to many features that I may never use, My only gripe is that the Motorola phone clone no longer works
