G75 does cause me much eye strain. Dunno why because is LCD but my eyes still strain and hurt after using it for half hour or more.
How can i stop this.
I hate the screen but performance is very good for price.
Can use to watch video n gaming but everythin else and my eyes hurt. I go back to using my Moto g100 but it needs new battery as it discharge very very quickly now and very outdated old security patches, no updates in long long time

(but depending on your specific reigon/payment app, that might require an ESE type NFC. I'm glad to hear Google Pay doesn't require ESE)
Overall, i think G75 is a steal. 👌

NonESE NFC = NO PROBLEM.
I'm paying everyday for stuff here in europe, Google pay is using it's own secured technology and is not using secure chip on the phones so basically NFC payments are fully supported regardless what some guys who don't use it says.
I paid for public transport, for café from guy on bicykle in the park, street food, big shopping malls, small shops, butiques, gas stations, I withdrawed money from atm's using gpay, I paid in the train for the ticket and never ever had a problem. the end. nfc payments works 110% in EU.

People have posted their independent opple results on forums online, & the g75 display flickers at a high hz rate but also has a very high modulation rate, especially on lower brightness levels under 40 per cent. This will undoubtedly affect those that have flicker sensitivity. So the g75 is NOT FLICKER FREE.

CopyNinja, 03 Mar 2025yeah its the same technology. LTPS LCD display i find G75 u... moreI had to sell it I'm afraid.
I can't fathom what is wrong with them (or me), obviously it doesn't have PWM so it must be something else .
Strangely I used to have a vivo v21 (amoled) which only had PWM below 50%, if I kept it above that I was fine, but as soon as I went below 50 I found my eyes dotting around struggling to concentrate on anything on the screen , which is exactly what happens with the Motorola.
Same thing happen with the axom m (which is an lcd) , as soon as you went below 36% it had PWM and I couldn't concentrate and then my eyes started to hurt (I didn't even know it had PWM until I recorded it).
Anyway I will just have to keep trying out phones until I find one, or just give up and live in a cave, at this point both seem like an viable option.

Sarim, 28 Feb 2025Screen quality .Same for many Amoled etc The Motorola G55 made my eyes hurt within minutes and I was dizzy for the rest of the day.
I'm still considering the G75, but now I'm afraid because chances are Motorola use the same technology in both screens, especially as Motorola seem to have replaced the screen in the moto G55 from the reviewed one's (mine had a red tint, not green like all the reviews).
Of course everyone is going to be different and million will not have a problem with these phones, the only thing you can do is try one and hope you don't lose to much money (like me) in the process.
