Thank you ! Any tips on gallery and file apps to install? I don't like Google files. It can be paid. One question, don't Motorola say Hello Moto when it turns on?

My review after 1 week of using the phone:
negatives:
- can confirm the speakers are very loud, but not the best quality sound (but bearable - it's not a squeaky trash can, and also not a muffled boom sound - just clear stereo sound but with no bass) so for podcasts - yes, for videos - fine, for techno and hard bass - nope, for other genres of music 3 to 5 stars out of 10)
- battery, for me, but I came from Redmi 9T, where I got easly 40 hours on battery with 14 hours screen on time (i'm not power user - web surfing, mail and social media)
on this phone I managed get 7 hours of screen time in 24 hours (but from 80% to 1%) so you get like 10 hours screen time from the battery. I'm still adapting to charging everyday instead of every other day.
- camera app that makes terrible postprocessing (can be fixed in future by motorola, for now I fixed with Gcam)
- and that's about the negatives. I thought the NFC will be a problem, but I paid in Tesco, Lidl, Billa, small local shops and never had a problem. Also small things like no preinstalled gallery app or file manager. The ones from google are terrible (files by google are terrible - gallery app by google is bearable)
positives:
+ display (high refresh, bright and vivid LCD panel with even backlight, with extra dim mode that can really go super dim (touch and hold extra dim icon and adjust the "dimniness" if thats a word) also water touch works nice - just unlocked phone with full wet hands and started podcast app and checked messages while washing dishes
+ power - not a single stutter all week long, user reports of youtube lags is fixed - all smoothly works for me)
+ reception and GPS - reception is perfect - sim, wifi and bluetooth all works great on places where most of the phones don't. Also GPS on cloudy day? Located within 5 seconds with 3 meters accuracy.
+ camera (with gcam app)
+ moto features I thought will be gimmick but are really useful, the chop chop flashlight, secure folder, volume button skipping song etc.
+ and many other small things like wireless charging, vanilla android etc.
I'm overall sarisfied with my buy (if are there any redmi 9T owners wondering if they should upgrade - i think it's 100% worth it if you get used for everyday charging). Going into this phone, I wanted middle class phone that wiol last me years and I only worried only about the NFC and vibration motor but both are perfectly fine. The phone surprised me with the beautiful screen, fast responses and features. If motorola delivers with a 5 android updates and 6 years security patches, I'm sure, I will be happy owner of this phone for all these years and hopefully more. As I mentioned, my prev phone was redmi 9t, I had it for 3 and a half years and needed upgrade because the system was getting slow, had only 64gb of storage (which I thought will be plenty but wasn't because nowadays everywhere and for everything you need an app). And the security patch was from 2023.

The camera software has extreme post-processing that makes all photos over-sharpened and over-exposed, with no way to turn it off. The camera can actually take decent photos if you use a Gcam port, but with the default app they end up looking like you took them with a 2000s flip phone. What is Motorola even doing?

I read a lot on 4pda, and grifter who spread disinfo are gone from thread.
Phone is highly popular in Russia and they import from EU and China. However, Chinese model is cheaper but it lacks NFC, eSIM, and band 20. I read some reflashed with reteu image...
This is officially no.1 recommended Android phone without PWM on 4pda.
I read many users reported fantastic network signal where even iPhone and Galaxy S models didn't have signal, G75 has.
GCam is a must as Sony Lytia 600 sensor with OIS and Spectra ISP is highly capable. Heck, even trash UW camera makes usable photos with GCam. I mean, moto camera is all right for its class, but GCam is whole another level.
However, moto camera is not completely useless - videos shot with it are actually good, and GCam doesn't make better videos.

Main NC positives:
1) Waterproof, well-designed chassis;
2) Great display - this is basically the best IPS display on market right now;
3) Fantastic battery life (excluding gaming);
4) Excellent for navigation - on par referent Garmin watch;
5) Main camera takes good photos;
6) No overheating and trottling;
7) It has every BT codec: aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX TWS+, LHDC V2/3/4/5 and LDAC.
Another things:
1) Stereo speakers are average quality, but are relatively loud.
2) Good for light gaming.
3) UFS 2.2 speed is above average which probably means it uses uMCP storage.

I'm going to write about my negatives first which aren't mentioned by notebookcheck:
1) No 3,5mm jack, and yet, newly announced G Power 2025 for US market has it. That model is rebranded G75 5G with inferior Dimensity 6300 SoC.
2) Display is not HDR10 certified, and yet cheaper G55 5G and G35 5G are which makes no sense - we wrote about this previously.
NC negatives:
1) When making calls via the loudspeaker and the hands-free microphone, our voices sounded very muffled, according to our partner on the other end of the line, but we were able to hear him clearly and, if desired, quite loudly.
2) "Relatively" low Wi-Fi data send speeds.
3) Muddy images from the wide-angle camera.

All right, G75 5G doesn't have PWM. It's settled. Since weekend, we have two official sources:
1) One user in 4pda has Radex Lupin, he bought G75 and didn't find PWM.
2) On the same time, notebookcheck released full review, and they didn't find either.
Of course, some grifters in Reddit and 4pda claimed it has because somebody used Opple Lightmaster which is for LED lights not displays.
Anyway, some users can be sensitive but it is because of proximity sensor and has nothing with LCD.

Anonymous, 06 Jan 2025Why does G35 have HDR but not G75?Crazy isn't it? Bizarre omission by Motorola and GSMArena still advertising the G75 as 'Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM'
