hari, 25 Jan 2023Its been 10 days i brought moto g82 . i have recently notic... moreNow I notice purple Haze, where did you purchase the phone from Flipkart or motorola site. I compared this phone screen with g72, the g72 screen is way better than this g82 it doesn't have black crush or purple Haze issue.
I noticed in reddit someone mentioning for g71 5g same black crush issue. Seems like all the moto 5g phones with AMOLED screens are defective or we got defective items.
I don't have any service centers in my area and it is tough to explain this issue in service centre.
I'm never going to buy any motorola phone.

This older Gcam works fine . It's light and very fast .Great photos .

Bt, 27 Jan 2023What's black crushSome dark scenes appear very pixelated and shadows all get crushed. Try watching Batman 2022 trailer with lights off, you will understand.

The g82 would be my almost perfect phone if it offered 4k video recording. My Moto g6 from almost 4 years ago records 1080p, same as the g82.
The g6 also has a SIM tray with three slots, 2 for SIM and 1 for SD. g82 only has 2 slot tray: 2 SIM or 1 SIM/1 SD.
g6 has a flash on the selfie cam too.
g6 made of glass front and back (although I'm not keen on glass-backed phones. People don't have glass laptops, glass mouse, or glass TV remote control. Glass backed phones are a status symbol.

For 270 EUR (end of Jan '23) it's not a bad deal, nice screen and audio - surprisingly loud, power brick 33W included and cheap case. Watching 60fps on YT gives joy. It tried to install tiktok and other crap but mostly all bloat was possible to remove, other to disable. Side sensor could be better. Dec 22 updates now. Migration from older moto smooth and quick (w/o cable). Reasonable upgrade from OneVision after 3y.

Does your phone has black ... moreYes, I saw and there is a black crush issue also while watching some black darker scenes in youtube.It is very sad that none of the youtubers have mentioned this issue in their reviews as this is a very big issue one can notice this issue while watching any black darker scenes videos

This phone has black crush issue. You can notice it clearly while watching content in Netflix but not that noticable in prime video. Sad that no one mentioning it.

Its been 10 days i brought moto g82 . i have recently noticed that when I keep in dark mode and set brightness below 50% there is a purple colour haze visible when scrolling through notification panel and dark mode apps.Anyone facing this issue.Please help me out.

Overall really like the phone but the fingerprint sensor which is on the power on/off button is inconvenient and often doesn't work. I am actually thinking of returning the phone as it is incredibly annoying.
